    Lending Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    Establish and Develop SME Loan Business:

    • Take charge of initiating and developing the SME loan business segment within the organization.
    • Create and manage essential documents, including project status reports, account documentation, and product marketing materials.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Facilitate effective communication between teams involved in projects, such as marketing, research and development, and testing teams.
    • Provide support and assistance to ensure smooth project execution.

    Data Analysis and Business Planning:

    • Analyze data to report daily performance and industry trends.
    • Utilize data insights to develop business plans and strategies for the SME loan segment.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop new relationships and maintain existing ones with customers and clients.
    • Conduct market research on merchant operations to identify potential clients.

    Team Training and Onboarding:

    • Conduct training sessions and onboard new business development/sales team members.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

    Meeting Coordination and Documentation:

    • Organize and attend client meetings, as well as internal team meetings.
    • Take meeting notes and compile attendance records for internal use.

    Database Management and Reporting:

    •  Manage databases and report project details and progress to the appropriate manager regularly.

    Requirements and Skills:

    • Minimum of five years of experience as a Business Development (SME Loan Officer) or Business Support Associate in a financial institution.
    • Must have worked in at least 2 to 3 lending firms.
    • HND in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or relevant fields.
    • Proficiency in forecasting models and data analysis.
    • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and manage projects.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Currently working in a microfinance bank.

    Sales Representative

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate leads and drive sales of the company's publications, including books, magazines, and digital content.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including bookstores, educational institutions, and individual customers.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's market presence.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of the company's products and services.
    • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities. 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the publishing industry or a related field.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of the Lagos market and existing networks within the publishing industry is a plus.
    • Must be able to resume immediately.

    Salary and Benefits

    • N50,000 - 70,000 monthly + Commission on Sales
