Legal Officer

- Location Abuja
- Job Field Legal and Regulatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate all contracts: Sale Agreements, Lease Agreements, Agency Agreements, Vendor SLAs, Employment Contracts
- Conduct legal due diligence on property titles, C of O, R of O, etc.
- Advise Management on legal risks, real estate law, tenancy law, and SCUML/AML-CFT compliance
- Manage litigation and external counsel
- Represent Bamcom at lower tribunals where applicable
Job Requirements:
- LLB, BL, and must be a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with a current NBA practicing license
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with experience in real estate, conveyancing, or corporate/commercial law
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Experience with property documentation in FCT/Abuja and other states is an advantage
