    Maintenance Technician

    Duties

    • Inspects cinema facilities, equipment, and systems to identify any issues and necessary maintenance.
    • Repairs faulty equipment units and damaged structures within cinema common areas.
    • Develops and implement preventative maintenance procedures
    • Develops plan and schedule repairs of equipment.
    • Ensures proper monitoring of the equipment weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance schedule.
    • Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
    • Performs general maintenance tasks and manual repairs including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating systems.
    • Maintains the inventory and records for equipment and supplies.
    • Supervises and trains team members on equipment handling/operation and maintenance.
    • Maintains all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
    • Provide technical support, ability to make quick decisions and solve technical problems
    • Complies with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
    • Conducts safety inspections as scheduled.
    • Creates strategies to meet workload demands on time.
    •  Installs and operates equipment in line with manufacturers’ safety guidelines in a timely manner that avoids lengthy periods without loss to the business.
    • Recommends, schedules equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
    • Documents work performance and materials as directed.
    • Responds timely to all technical problems, notifies appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
    • If necessary, liaises with third-party support and equipment vendors.
    • Monitors and test equipment and provide performance statistics and reports.
    • Performs other duties assigned by Line Manager
    • University degree in the technical field. At least 1-year work experience in a technical position

    Network and Technical Support Engineer

    Planning

    • Responsible for developing a detailed infrastructure plan to achieve the objectives outlined in the IT Team annual Operating Plan.
    • Regularly report progress against plan to the Head of Operations and CEO. Also report progress against plan to other interested parties across the business.
    • Follow the Internal Escalation process to escalate issues within the organisation.
    • Responsible to the Head of Operations and Accounts to produce the IT Team annual budget.

    Customer support

    • Respond and resolve all incidents and problems that are allocated or escalated by other members of the team in accordance with the time set out in the Service Level Agreements.
    • Recommend and where appropriate implement actions to prevent calls re-occurring
    • Where appropriate, coach customers in the proper use of the IT infrastructure to reduce the level of dependency upon the IT support function.
    • Have a methodical and analytical approach to fault resolution.
    • A good communicator, polite, presentable and positive attitude when dealing with users

    Network and Systems Administration

    • General administrative duties including but not limited to the administration of all Windows, Email, Data storage, Security, Backup, Telephone, Printers, Copiers, Remote user support, Windows, Network printers, Hardware devices and drivers.
    • Management of VIVA and Persianas Retail computer and individual user accounts and access control lists, management of all Files and Folders access rights.
    • Operation and control of the communications devices and may also assist in the design, installation and implementation of the network structure.
    • Monitoring and maintenance of Network operation systems – Win 2008-16 and the server physical and logical Disk drives.
    • Troubleshoot, monitor, tune, maintain, support and enhance performance of existing operating systems hardware and networks.
    • Research, analyze, evaluate and utilize new systems tools for System maintenance and performance
    • Evaluate and apply computer networking and telecommunication technologies to the Email networks
    • Create documentation and training materials for users are required.
    • Perform backup of software and data on file servers.
    • Develop and maintain documentation that thoroughly and accurately communicates the technical software, operating systems and hardware environment of the VIVA and Persianas Retail Offices.
    • Recover the system in the event of any form of failure or disaster.
    • Escalate issue to Head of Operations as required.
    • Supporting the projection department especially in this period with the emergence of a digital projector to ensure ease of access and maximum uptime.

    Network Security

    • Perform regular backups of data as directed by the Operations manual
    • Adhere to operational security standards and identify report and rectify any situation that could compromise VIVA and Persianas Retail systems and business information.

    IT Assistant

    Strategy & Planning

    • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
    • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
    • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
    • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware and equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations.
    • Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executables, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

    Acquisition & Deployment

    • Conduct research on computer products in support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase.
    • Write technical specifications for purchase of PCs and related products.
    • Recommend, schedule, and perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.

    Operational Management

    • Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
    • Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
    • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
    • Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products.
    • In-Charge the helpdesk system to have better response time
    • Knowledgeable in the configuration of routers and firewalls
    • Ability to determine potential risks
    • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
    • Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems.
    • Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
    • Monitor and test PC performance and provide PC performance statistics and reports.
    • Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
    • If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
    • Provide guidance to junior members of the team if required.
