    Key Account Executive- Lagos, Benin and Port Harcourt

    Job Summary. 

    We are working on recruiting an experienced Key Account Executives to join our team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with a focus on modern trade.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Growth and Development

    • Achieve sales targets and drive growth in assigned territories.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including modern trade accounts.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Develop and execute customer-specific sales plans to drive growth and increase market share.
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.

    Sales Strategy Execution

    • Execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth.
    • Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
    • Adjust sales strategies as needed to respond to changes in the market or competitive landscape.

    Territory Management

    • Manage assigned territories, including planning and executing sales calls, and maintaining accurate records of sales activity.
    • Identify and prioritize key customers and opportunities within assigned territories.

    Other responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
    • Set sales goals and determine the best ways to achieve them
    • Meet with customers and determine their need for goods and services; recommend products; and process transactions.
    • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
    • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
    • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

    Requirements: 

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a focus on modern trade.
    • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
    • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience working with modern trade accounts, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets.
    • Knowledge of the FMCG industry and market trends.

    Trade Marketing Manager- Lagos

    About the role:

    Givanas Cosmetics Marketing team is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager who will drive disbursement of marketing merchandise. We are looking for someone who is passionate and excited about the opportunity to bring affordable yet premium cosmetics to every individual.

    Job Summary

    • Think, design, produce, and promptly distribute promotional materials tailored to the needs of the trade.
    • Identify, plan and execute Sun King’s participation in trade Events and Exhibitions in the northern part of Nigeria.
    • Ensure accountability and accuracy of marketing merchandise in the stores and northern warehousing, acting as custodians of these merchandises.
    • Ensure marketing stock sheet and trackers are regularly updated.
    • Conduct trade visits to gather insights on customer behavior, and route-to-market effectiveness.
    • Assist with the northern retail outlet and collection centre branding.
    • Work closely with the regional sales team to identify growth opportunities and ensure execution of marketing-led sales initiatives.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 5+ years of trade marketing, field marketing, or sales experience, preferably in FMCG, Cosmetics sector.
    • Good people management skills and the ability to manage field teams, agents, and third-party vendors.
    • Comfortable with frequent travel across the states.
    • Excellent communication, reporting, and project coordination skills.
    • Must be adaptable, and solution-oriented.
