    Job Description Summary

    • You will be responsible for gathering customer input and insight for products and applications in development as well as current products/applications in the CT business.     Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide clinical and technical input on new product definitions and requirements.
    • Evaluate performance and quality of new products throughout the development process and after introduction.

    • Demonstrated current basic clinical scanning proficiencies on current CT products/platforms
    • Minimum of 5 years CT clinical/ technical experience following certification
    • Demonstrated clinical/technical skill in specific areas or at least 3 years commercial applications/modality experience
    • Demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows (80% travel and more)

    • Establish and implement project specific commercial procedures regarding change order management, claims and dispute management and insurance recovery.
    • Liaise with project planners to confirm that contract program and subcontract schedules are set up and kept up to date, to support project claim strategy.
    • Effectively execute on Change Order management.
    • Preserve GE Grid Solutions’ rights and entitlements as provided in the contract.
    • Ensure notices are given in line with contract requirements.
    • Identify customer/consortium and other third-party obligations; develop and implement the project contract commercial plan and project claim strategy.
    • Support Sourcing in identifying flow-down requirements for subcontractors/suppliers to ensure there are no gaps between GE responsibilities and subcontractors/suppliers’ work and work with Sourcing to develop, publish and negotiate construction subcontract packages. 
    • Manage the development and resolution of claims and disputes to/from customers, consortium partners and subcontractors.

    • Report on project claims and Change Orders, as well as potentially critical contract issues to management and, as required, to project control, finance and audit staff.

    Lead ITR Commercial Excellence Manager

    • Support Sales Team with tools respect to NEX and Outage Data Accuracy and maintain defects dashboards.
    • Drive lean and continuous improvement efforts to advance Commercial Excellence whilst collaborating with the Lean Leader
    • Support Sales Team with respect to Outage deep-dive and installed base coverage to anchor opportunities in the space.
    • Run and own all reports necessary in respect to Pipeline, Entitlement vs Participation, etc. This includes planning and budgeting activities for the ITR service space.
    • Conduct and support Commercial Audits as needed – support with investigation & ultimate resolution of NCRs as needed.
    • Drive process rigor - understand and enforce adherence to processes and procedures such as the R Process, ITO Handover Process, POA Signatory Process.
    • Co-ordinating of commercial training sessions for the Region
    • Active participation in the NEX Design Review Board to improve the NEX Tool as well as UAT & roll-out of other commercial tools
    • Support Sales teams to achieve commercial metrics, including but not limited to Commitment, Order and CM

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
    • 5+ years’ experience in  business operations, sales, sales operations, Finance or quality

    Project Sourcing Leader, Sub Sahara Africa

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with Regional Strategic Sourcing Key Commodity Leaders on supplier selection & strategy. Responsible for supplier selection, preparation of request for quotations and all related communication with suppliers. This involves coordination with PMO, Engineering, and suppliers (EPC’s and OEM’s) to understand project scope requirements. Prepare bidders lists and work with suppliers for bid clarification and/or kick-off meetings if required. Work with supplier quality and support their supplier qualification process and take the lead on supplier CoPQ recovery and drive supplier localization.
    • Responsible for leading negotiation of contracts (purchasing agreement and contract of works) for external sourcing of services and materials of complex project scopes using expertise from supporting organizations like contracts, legal and insurance teams. Ensure appropriate business approvals are obtained as per DOA prior to final contract negotiations following applicable company and regulations.
    • Sourcing Fulfillment of GT, ST, Gen, Boiler & related MSD scope. Work with Parts Sourcing Fulfillment Team to set sourcing strategy, identify compliance requirements and prioritize expediting of parts and materials.
    • Create demand for suppliers using the relevant ERP system to issue purchase orders while following the necessary DoA approval process. Ensure supplier payments, close open PO’s, deal with AP holds and payment updates to suppliers. Responsible for PMO dashboard updates, metrics and weekly KPI’s follow up.
    • Work with assigned sourcing team to meet or beat business goals for deflation, cash and On time delivery. Ensure accurate KPI pulsing for the buy, drive deflation and improve NNT. This will involve workflow submissions, due diligence on cost out data and other related tasks.
    • Ensure compliance of offers, specifications, schedule, quality and contractual terms. Demonstrate leadership for the sourcing team while working with individual departments, especially commercial, legal, engineering, quality, Compliance, EHS, and finance. Work with respective Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure the use of qualified suppliers and resolve supply chain issues.
    • Developing in-depth knowledge of the sourcing discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
    • A job at this level is an individual contributor role, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
    • Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field.     Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, engineering, or field engineering role in power generation industry. Familiarity with GT, ST, Gen, Boiler & related BOP components.
    • Proficient in Smartsheet, MS Office applications like Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
    • Ability and willingness to travel if necessary, domestically and internationally.
    • ERP purchasing system experience like Oracle/Power Max/SAP/Ariba.
    • Excellent communication skills including reading and interpreting engineering drawings, BOM and contractual documents.
    • Advanced knowledge with procurement and sourcing processes in tender and execution stage, expertise in preparation of cost calculation, ability of analytical evaluation of data.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
    • Financial and business acumen, Familiarity with Sourcing quality process.
    • Familiarity with different organizations & responsibilities within EPC Construction companies.
