    Project Officer

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project milestones.  
    • Supervise the day-to-day execution of telecom infrastructure projects across assigned sites.
    • Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities from initiation to completion.
    • Develop and monitor project schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines.
    • Supervise site engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure all installations, including towers, cabling, telecom equipment, and network infrastructure, comply with technical specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
    • Conduct routine site inspections and Technical Site Surveys (TSS) to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
    • Track project costs, monitor resource utilization, and report budget variances to the Project Manager.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports, site reports, and other project documentation.
    • Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
    • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and resolving operational issues promptly.
    • Coordinate project logistics, including material deliveries, equipment availability, and workforce scheduling.
    • Maintain accurate project records, including change requests, site documentation, inspection reports, and project close-out documentation.
    • Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
    • Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 
    • 2 years of experience in telecommunications project supervision or a related role (e.g., field technician, site supervisor). Experience with tower installation, retrofit, audit, operations and maintenance, wireless networks, or broadband installations is highly desirable. 
    • Preferred certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional), or industry-specific credentials. 
    • Familiarity with telecom equipment (e.g., Towers, routers, switches, antennas), and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). 
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Ability to work in outdoor environments, site inspection, Technical Site Survey (TSS)
    • Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

    Required Competencies:

    • Knowledge of 4G/5G network deployments is a plus, Tower structures and Operations and Maintenance. 
    • Experience with permitting processes and coordination with local municipalities. 
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

    Legal Officer

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization and clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters. 
    • Draft, review, negotiate, and vet contracts, agreements, memoranda, legal opinions, policies, and other legal documents.
    • Represent clients in courts, tribunals, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
    • Prepare and file court processes, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, appeals, and other legal documents.
    • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide sound legal opinions and recommendations on complex legal issues.
    • Manage litigation matters from commencement through judgment and enforcement while ensuring compliance with court rules and timelines.
    • Attend court sittings, client meetings, negotiations, and case conferences as required.
    • Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, company secretarial matters, and commercial transactions.
    • Conduct legal due diligence and support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring where applicable.
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities, government agencies, external counsel, and other stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while identifying and mitigating legal risks.
    • Maintain accurate records of legal documents, contracts, case files, and statutory filings.
    • Monitor developments in legislation, case law, and regulatory requirements and provide timely updates to clients or management.
    • Participate in contract negotiations and assist in resolving contractual disputes.
    • Support debt recovery, employment matters, and other legal proceedings as required.
    • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients while ensuring excellent service delivery.
    • Assist in developing legal strategies to protect the interests of clients and the organization.
    • Prepare periodic legal reports, case status updates, and management reports.
    • Perform any other legal duties as may be assigned by the Head of Legal or Managing Partner.

    Requirement

    • LL.B and B.L. qualifications with a valid Call to the Nigerian Bar.
    • 2–3 years post-call experience with hands-on experience in both Corporate and Litigation Practice.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate and litigation laws.
    • Excellent legal drafting, research, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Law.
    •  Sound understanding of Civil and Criminal Litigation procedures.
    • Excellent legal drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
    • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
