    Auditor

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Develop audit plans and programs based on risk assessments and objectives.
    • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits according to audit standards.
    •  Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, procedures, and risk management systems.
    •  Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
    •  Examine accounting records, financial statements, and other relevant data for accuracy and compliance.
    •  Verify financial documentation and detect discrepancies or irregularities.
    •  Monitor adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
    • Present results to management and stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
    •  Identify financial and operational risks and evaluate the adequacy of controls in place to mitigate them.
    • Support the development of risk-based audit plans.
    •  Handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain the highest standards of professional integrity.
    •  Adhere to ethical auditing practices and organizational code of conduct.
    •   Coordinate and provide support during external audits, including supplying documentation and explanations.
    •   Ensure readiness and compliance for year-end audits and reviews.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in auditing experience (construction)or  a similar role is a plus.
    •  Familiarity with risk-based audit methodologies and internal control frameworks.
    •  Experience with financial statement audits, compliance reviews, and process evaluations.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    • Ability to assess complex financial data, detect anomalies, and draw logical conclusions..

    General Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operations of all departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. 
    • Lead, motivate and mentor department heads and staff to achieve high performance.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment with a focus on professional development and accountability.
    • Lead strategic planning and execution of business objectives to support company growth in the construction sector.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities, services, and revenue streams in line with market demands.
    •  Drive innovation in construction processes, technology adoption, and sustainability practices.
    • Manage cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback.
    • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all projects and business units.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Develop and monitor budgets, control project costs, and ensure overall financial performance.
    • Support recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a high-performance culture. 
    •  Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
    •  Master’s degree or additional certifications in construction or business management is a plus.
    • 3-5  years Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Programmes (MS Excel and MS Word specifically.)
    •  Strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, including budget control, scheduling, and resource management.
    •  Intrapreneurial experience within an established company, with a focus on driving internal innovation, process improvements, and new business development.
    • Deep understanding of the construction industry’s regulations, standards, and operational.
    •  Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and developing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals.

    • Good relationship management skills and the ability to work closely with local partners.

    • Excellent project management skills, including risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
    • A proactive, problem-solving approach with a keen eye for operational efficiency.
