Job Responsibilities:
Build API integrations and automate common file system tasks
Develop and maintain high-performance databases, and data models
Implement data security and protection practices
Maintain accuracy in the data models by writing unit/integration tests
Perform data analysis and find solutions to improve processes
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience working as a Python engineer
Previous data engineering experience to upgrade data and ML pipeline (Spark, EMR)
In-depth knowledge of AWS and Unix environment (Ubuntu/Linux)
Good understanding of DAG/workflow management tools
Experience with CI/CD, Docker and SQL
Nice to have knowledge of HTML, CSS, REST APIs and cloud independent data engineering tools
Working knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana and Time Series Database (DRUID/Clickhouse) would be a plus
Fluency in verbal and written English
