Remote UI Web Developer (Shopify, JavaScript and Liquid) at Turing.com

Turing.com is looking to hire a UI Developer on behalf of a high-growth company leading in the furniture manufacturing space. The developer will work primarily on websites built on Shopify including the development and maintenance of mockups and new web applications. The company specializes in cabinetry products and builds comfortable homes through innovations in fashion and functionality. This is a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to join a diverse team and contribute to developing award-winning innovations in home fashion for customers. The role requires a time overlap with CT.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new web applications and maintain existing applications

• Maintain the websites built on Shopify

• Build pixel-perfect UIs across platforms

• Ensure engaging UX for the applications

• Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of experience in UI development

• Good understanding of the JavaScript and Liquid

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js, Typescript, jQuery, and Angular

• Proficient with Sublime and VS code 

• Working experience of Shopify to build and customize themes & layouts

• Familiarity with mockups building tools like Adobe, Zeplin, OmniGraffle, Illustrator and Sketch
