Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fault finding in all Electrical panels using a multimeter to rectify any electrical issues.
• Testing of electrical motors with a Megger during fault finding process or after rewinding company
• Ensuring all Electrical Panels, DB boards are maintained as per the international standard
• Ensure all Lights in each area of the factory are working properly and are also properly covered
• Ensure all electrical cables in the factory are neatly strapped in a cable tray.
• Ability to fault finding on WAGO panels
• Use tools in the workshop to rebuild and repair any electrical equipment andenvironmental practice are maintained.
• Report breakdown to Technical Manager were additional resources is required
• Support Mechanical Technicians Team when and where needed
• Carry out Electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on:
• Beans Dumping conveyors, elevator and conveyor to the factory.
• Beans Silos Intake machinery, Bucket elevators, Cleaning machine, De-stoner, conveyors, Ventilex, Winnowers, Beans breakers, screw conveyors and Fans
• Continues line Machinery, Twin screw, Residence belt, Kahl Dreyer, screw conveyors, pumps electric
• Electrical motors, LCS pump electrical motors
• Compressor electrical motors, Chillers, sensors, fans and pump motors.
• Diesel and Shell boilers, Inlet fans, pumps, Blowers, screw conveyors, hydraulic unit and control panel.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.Sc / B.Eng, OND / HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Experience: 5 years and above
• Gender: Male preferably
• Age: Not more than 45 years.

Abilities / Requirements:

• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.

• The role require carry out skilled plating, fabrication and welding work including inspection, planning, preparation and cutting, checking/testing; to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items, whilst performing the allocated tasks to meet applicable safety standards, targets, criteria and deadlines and to maximise productivity and profitability.

Job Overview

• We seek motivated Mechanical Personnel with a minimum of 5 years and above experience as a Mechanical Technician. This role supports Mechanical Maintenance Team management and compliance to standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Make use of tools in the workshop for rebuilding, repairing, reconditioning of Pumps, Airlocks, fans, Blowers, assembly of Grinder shafts.
• Ensure that, Dust, Steam, Water and Air leakages are prevented, repaired or stopped.
• Maintain schedule of all factory rotating equipment and installation of automatic lubricators
• Ensure best environmental practices is adhere to before/after job completion
• Ability to do welding when necessary if required during after-hours when on Shift
• Ensure correct V-belt fitment and pully alignment.
• Ensure correct Chain and sprocket fitment and alignment.
• Reporting of any unsafe machinery, actions and behavior during his working hours.
• Report to the Technical Manager of any breakdowns that required additional resources.
• Carry Out Mechanical Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Repairs On:
  • Dumping conveyor, elevator and conveyor Couplings, gearboxes, belt rollers, bearing units and compressed air line.
  • Beans Silos, Intake Machinery, Bucket elevators, Cleaning machine, De-stoner, conveyors, Ventilex, Winnowers, Beans breakers, Airlocks, screw conveyors, Fans, Nibbs transport lines, and shell line to the boiler.
  • Continues Line Machinery, Twin screw, Residence belt, Kahl Dreyer, screw conveyors, steam lines, pumps, Fans, airlocks, blowers, and bearing units.
  • Nibbs line to Scale 4, Pre-Grinder bearing lubrication unit, installation of new Sieves, Pump and Gearboxes, hot water lines, SWECO Sieve, Aspiration Fans
  • Press 1-3, Hydraulic units, cake conveyors, LCS pumps, heat exchanger, Steam supply,
  • Powder Packing Section, Fans, Blowers, Powder Mill, Powder bagging machine, Screw conveyors, Airlocks, Compressed air supply lines, Belt conveyor Material Hoppers, and Rolling Screen, Filter boxes and filter replacements.
  • Butter/Liquor packing section, Conveyors, Pumps, Torpedo coolers, Chilled water line, Filling nozzles, Chillers, strainers, ball valves.
  • Compressors, Cleaning of radiators, filters, replacement of filters if necessary.
  • Diesel and Shell boilers, Inlet fans, pumps, Blowers, screw conveyors, hydraulic unit.
  • Cake Section, Blower, filter units, Airlocks.
