Job Overview

• The role require carry out skilled plating, fabrication and welding work including inspection, planning, preparation and cutting, checking/testing; to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items, whilst performing the allocated tasks to meet applicable safety standards, targets, criteria and deadlines and to maximise productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate measurement and fabrication of plates and piping to be fabricated inhouse.
• Fitment and troubleshooting of parts.
• Ability to do welding when necessary if required
• Ability to work with the maintenance and breakdown teams to reduce downtime.
• Good knowledge of the correct use of tools to maximize effective repairs with minimal time lost.
• Reporting of any Unsafe machinery, actions and behavior during his working hours.
• Ability to work on flexible timing (weekend if needed) to ensure that broken down machines are fixed (manufactured and fitted).

Requirements

• Qualification: B.Sc, OND / HND in Metal Construction and Welding
• Experience: 5 years and above
• Gender: Male preferably
• Age: Not more than 45 years.
