    Manager, Marketing & Business Development

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy Manager, Marketing and Business Development who is as much a business strategist. This is not just a coordination role; it is a business development and growth engine for the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria.
    • The incumbent will be responsible for scaling our full range of service offerings to our membership strata, including the CIoD Academy and Membership services. If you are a skilled marketer with a passion for executive education, this is your stage.
    • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute aggressive marketing strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue targets for the Institute.
    • Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of institutional clients, ensuring high retention and repeat business for board-level interventions.

    Academic & Professional Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., NITAD, CIPM, or CIM) is highly desirable.

    Experience

    • 5–7 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a marketing or business development role within a professional membership body or a leading consulting firm.
    • Experience in a business membership organisation will be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
    • Deep understanding of the Nigerian corporate landscape and the developmental needs of Directors and Senior Executives.

    Officer, Training & Development Capacity

    Job Description

    • The officer will be responsible for all administrative and on-the-ground logistics of CIoD’s Training and Director Development programs.
    • Execute all tasks that facilitates seamless process in the training cycle.
    • The incumbent will also assist in implementing strategies and initiatives to increase the uptake of training programs in the Institute and regional offices

    Competency and Skills Requirement

    • In-depth understanding and deep knowledge of training evaluation and assessment, training needs analysis. Attention to detail and accuracy of data is also important skill to be possessed.

    Academic & Professional Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science discipline or a related field

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 (two) years relevant experience
    • Experience in a business membership organisation will be an added advantage, but not mandatory
