Position Overview

• TAAS Group of Schools seeks a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Vice Principal (Academic) to provide strong leadership in academic planning, curriculum delivery, teaching quality, and student performance.
• The Vice Principal (Academic) will work closely with the Principal to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning, foster academic excellence, and uphold the school’s vision of holistic education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership by overseeing curriculum planning, teaching methodologies, and instructional standards across all classes.
• Supervise and mentor teachers to ensure effective lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Monitor students’ academic progress, organize assessments, and ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Coordinate staff development programs, workshops, and training sessions for continuous professional growth.
• Support the Principal in academic administration, policy implementation, and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations, curriculum standards, and school policies.
• Lead academic committees, meetings, and initiatives aimed at improving student performance.
• Foster a culture of discipline, innovation, and academic excellence among staff and students.
• Build positive relationships with parents and stakeholders regarding students’ academic progress.
• Assist in managing timetables, examinations, and co-curricular academic activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (Master’s Degree in Education is an added advantage).
• 5–10 years proven teaching and administrative experience in a reputable school.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be resident in Ibadan and live close to Apata region for accessibility and quick response.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire staff and students to achieve excellence.
• Proficiency in educational technology and modern teaching strategies.

Position Summary

• We are looking for an experienced ICT Teacher with 5–10 years of teaching/industry experience to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate must have advanced technology skills (coding, graphics design, and artificial intelligence) and the ability to train students to develop digital competencies that meet global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons across different classes using modern teaching methodologies.
• Teach coding/programming (Python, JavaScript, Scratch, etc.), graphics design (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Canva, etc.), and artificial intelligence basics (machine learning, AI applications, robotics where applicable).
• Prepare students for national and international ICT competitions, certifications, and project showcases.
• Design and implement practical ICT projects that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
• Stay up to date with global trends in ICT and integrate them into teaching practice.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology across subjects.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ICT laboratories and resources.
• Mentor students with an interest in pursuing ICT-related careers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• 5–10 years of experience in teaching ICT and/or working in the tech industry.
• Strong expertise in coding/programming, graphics design, and artificial intelligence.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to train and inspire students in practical technology projects.
• Must reside in Ibadan and live close to the Apata region for easy commute.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of web development and mobile app development.
• Experience in robotics and STEM-related extracurriculars.
