    Audit Supervisor

    Accountabilities

    • Assess the risk management techniques/principles of assigned business or 
      functional areas within the required timeline.
    • Identify possible red flags and draft risk-based audit programs for different  audit tasks.
    • Carry out the audit of business processes, policies, systems, financials, operations, governance and HSSE.
    • Discuss audit findings/significant variations with relevant staff and senior 
      management after each audit task and proffer suggested solutions.
    • Prepare draft audit report and work papers with minimum supervision.
    • Review the suitability of internal control design and test their operating  effectiveness.
    • Perform the audit of business information technology and data  management system tools (like ERP).
    • Evaluate the level of business compliance with its policies, processes and  existing systems.
    • Discuss possible control issues with relevant business heads to improve and  add value to the system.
    • Participate actively in the review of business processes to drive efficiency  gains.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory provisions of the  businesses.
    • Carry out spot checks and quarterly/periodic inventory counts and  reconciliation.
    • Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Internal Audit

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Accounting or any other course. 
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 year of cognate experience in similar role, IT/Systems.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports. 
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations. 
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
    • Auditor or other audit experience (The “Big 4” is a plus). 
    • Relevant professional qualification (CIA, CISA, ACA, ACCA, etc.) will be an added advantage
    • Systems knowledge and familiarity, ERP (Oracle or Power Enterprise) preferably.
    • Sound independent judgement. 
    • Ability to administer Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook in various situations.
    •  Ability to travel for audit assignments in various locations at short notice

    Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager

    Role Accountabilities

    • Ensure all accounting transactions are posted and recorded daily in the company ledgers to enhance timely reporting and decision making.
    • Process payments and invoices through the bank and ensuring payments are done. 
    • Ensure regulatory compliance with tax and other regulatory bodies (PAYE, WHT, VAT and Pension, and others).
    • Prepare intercompany memos and carry out reconciliation with all sister entities.
    • Book, monitor and prepare monthly accrual journals.
    • Book, monitor and prepare monthly prepayment journals.
    • Maintain the company’s fixed asset register, payables, receivables, and general ledgers 
    • Handle petty cash management, retirement & replenishment.
    • Carry out month end bank reconciliation. 
    • Generate financial & management reports and cash flow statement for manager’s review.
    • Monitor expenditures analyse revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management. 
    • Participate in budget preparation and implementation, cost deviation tracking and control.
    • Assist in the annual external audit activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested schedules.

    Minimum Requirements/Skills

    • Good/Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of accounting packages/software 
    • Ability to be creative in doing the mundane.
    • Effective time and resources management.
    • Accounting Graduate with at least a minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar role.

    Performance Manager

    Role Accountabilities

    • Manage Performance Cycle of the organization
    • Build capability across business to enable compliance and correct execution of Performance Management tasks 
    • Create awareness and build understanding of the principles of “Continuous Performance Management” 
    • Support HRBPs and Line Managers to execute Talent 
    • Review Meetings across Operating businesses 
    • Ensure quality development plans are in place for all High Potential Employees and successors to Critical Roles 
    • Collaborate with HR Project team to co-own all accelerated development program Review Talent & Career management policies and guidelines 
    • Review Talent & Career Management initiatives 
    • Regular monitoring of the career management process in the Group 
    • Research and implement best practice in Talent & Career management across the Group 
    • Develop & manage a healthy talent pool across the Group 
    • Advise MDs of all the operating companies on Talent & Career matters 
    • Manage mentoring process of key talents 
    • Coordinate annual talent review sessions and translate into development plans 
    • Hold career discussions for key talents across the Group 
    • Implement succession planning peculiar to each operating company in the Group 
    • Present periodic reports on Talent & Career management to the Board of Directors 

    Requirements

    • 7 years of Cognate experience, 4 of which should in Talent Management or Performance Management 
    • Relevant professional HR Certification would be an added advantage Excellent communication and counselling skills with demonstrated ability to share knowledge
    • Good presentation and interpersonal skills 
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills 
    • Knowledge of people management and vendor management
