    Depot Logistics Officer

    Role Accountabilities

    • Liaising with the Accounts department to ensure that waybill and invoices are reconciled and reported weekly. 
    • Monitor and supervise all loaded trucks and their respective drivers from the point of loading till the point of discharge. 
    • Ensures the suitability of the transportation, initiates control as necessary and implements corrective actions.
    • Communicates logistics issues to the project team and where necessary. 
    • Liaising with government officials (DPR, PEF) in case of PMS loading. 
    • Liaises with project cost control, planning, contracts and quality functions to ensure optimized management of information.
    • Undertake the safe and efficient receipt, storage and load out of product. 
    • Reconciliation of purchase of products with loading of trucks.
    • Monitor peddler trans-loading and sales.
    • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
    • Conduct contractor activity and competency audits including maintaining of records. 
    • Sealing of trucks going to the station for security reasons. 
    • Ensure quality and quantity actualization.
    • Ensure bulk stock is accounted for.
    • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
    • Ensure record keeping in compliance with ISO-Standards. 
    • Loading of trucks, vessels and barges
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Requirements

    •  OND in Business Administration, Statistics, Logistics or related course.
    • 1 - 2 years of cognate working experience in Depot operations in Bulk Storage Company. 
    • Experienced in depot operations with a flair for logistics and distribution.
    • Successful experience receipt, storage and handling of bulk fuel products. 
    • Familiarity with information technology and common accounting, engineering and maintenance software. 
    • Understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Good Leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Must be creative and possess an analytical mind-set.
    • Must be able to deliver under extreme pressure/ stress. 
    • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks, processes, people and projects effectively.
    • Must be composed and well-coordinated.
    • Must be customer-focused and always meet customers’ expectations.
    • Ability to attract, inspire and influence others. 
    • Ability to display the ‘can do attitude’ even when faced with challenges yet maintain high composure.

    Terminal Maintenance Officer

    Accountabilities

    • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks on all depot equipment to ensure smooth running of operations.
    • Ensure all depot equipment is working optimally.
    • Maintain equipment service records.
    • Ensure availability of equipment spare parts.
    • Ensure compliance with company HSE policy in the execution of all maintenance activities.
    • Ensure timely and precise reports on all maintenance activities to the line manager.
    • Plan and prioritize depot maintenance to ensure no disruption/downtime to loading and discharging activities.
    • Ensure the cost of maintenance is within the approved budget.
    • Provide support during quality audits from regulatory bodies.
    • Prompt response to reports on faults of equipment and tools.
    • Effective negotiation to reduce the cost of equipment maintenance.
    • Other assigned responsibilities. 

    Requirements

    • OND in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
    • Relevant professional training and certification is highly desirable
    • At least 2 years' work experience in a similar role.
    • Experienced in installation, servicing and maintenance of Power generators and valves.
    • Good working knowledge of process line fittings installation, and maintenance.
    • Good working knowledge of Pumps and Motors.
    • Good working knowledge of project management.
    • Good working experience in engine assembly in accordance with engineering drawings.
    • Good working experience in HSE management.
    • Good working knowledge of maintenance management.
    • Good working knowledge of Air conditioning servicing.
    • Diesel Generator installations and maintenance.
    • AutoCAD (for mechanical Designs and Drafting).
    • Experience in piping pipeline and process control
