    Technical Regulatory Officer (Agrochemicals)

    General Work Description

    • The Technical Regulatory Officer is responsible for overseeing the company’s agrochemical product registrations, renewals of relevant certificates, product sampling and launch, quality compliance, etc. This position also serves as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, including manufacturers, regulatory bodies, research institutes, and legal counsel. Summarily, key accountabilities are under the supervision of the business head and in collaboration with relevant internal teams and external bodies.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Agrochemical product development, registration, and modification.
    • Regulatory bodies and research institutes' engagement.
    • Coordination with product manufacturers.
    • Coordination with the company's legal luminaries for notarization, trademark, and other legal matters.
    • Product labels and marketing materials development and design.
    • Product trials and field demonstrations.
    • To provide timely and accurate market and competitor intelligence and updates, and recommend suitable strategies.
    • Market and competitors’ survey and intelligence gathering.
    • Develop and manage a functionally robust quality compliant management system.
    • Ensure a functioning digital marketing for products.
    • Collaborate with the products procurement and logistics teams for timely product clearing and delivery.
    • Any other job-related duties assigned.

    Qualification, Experiece, And Skills

    • HND or Bachelor's in Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, and other related fields.
    • 3-5 years of experience in handling agrochemical development and product registration
    • Experience in engaging with related external agencies and bodies, such as NAFDAC, SON, NESREA, Customs, and Agro-Research Institutes, is highly preferred.

    • Recordkeeping and Documentation skills.
    • Negotiations and Interpersonal Communications skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Package (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

    Warehouse Officer (Ibadan)

    Key Responsibilities
    Warehouse Operation

    • Receive, inspect, and record incoming agrochemical products
    • Ensure proper storage of agrochemicals according to manufacturer’s instructions, compatibility, and safety regulations
    • Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe handling procedures are followed
    • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse

    Inventory Management

    • Maintain accurate stock records using manual logs or warehouse management systems
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with the finance team
    • Monitor stock level, expiry dates, and batch numbers to prevent shortages, overstocking, and expired products
    • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices.

    Health, Safety, and Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for storage and handling of agrochemicals.
    • Manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and ensure staff are trained on emergency response procedures.
    • Report and manage spills, damages, or incidents according to safety procedures.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Prepare and maintain accurate warehouse records, including good receipts notes, delivery notes, receipts, waybills, and inventory reports
    • Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for the timely dispatch of product
    • Prepare regular stock and compliance reports for management.

    Supervision and Coordination

    • Supervise the warehouse casual labourers
    • Coordinate with transporters to ensure safe and timely delivery of products
    • Provide training on safe handling, storage, and emergency procedures

    Qualification, Experience, And Skills

    • HND or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Agriculture, and related fields.
    • 2-5 years cognate experience in Warehouse Operations and/or Inventory Management is highly preferred.
    • Ability to handle agrochemical products.
    • Strong knowledge of agrochemical storage, regulatory standards, and health and safety guidelines.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and recordkeeping skills.
    • Possesses core ECOM Values (Integrity, Innovation, Inclusivity, Excellence, and Collaboration).
    • Proficiency in MS Office Package, especially Excel.
