    LPG Retail Plant Officer

    Description

    To manage the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil’s stations and depots as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of One (1) year work experience in a similar role
    • Minimum of an BSC/HND in Accounting, Banking/Finance & Economics.

    Responsibility

    • Facilitates the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
    • Maintains records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
    • Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
    •  Creates and maintains records of cash requests and disbursements.
    • Reconciles all received cash, which have been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
    • Processes payment for accounts and issuing receipts.
    • Keeps records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checking the cash balance against this record.
    • Collects money from bank for safe keeping before reimbursements.

    Operations Executive

    Description

    To identify and support the delivery of opportunities to expand the scope and revenue generating capacity of Rainoil’s depot business.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in a Social science, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or related discipline
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in the operations department in the Oil and Gas industry.

    Responsibility

    • Implements the depot’s business strategies, objectives and plans
    • Provides leadership and direction to the various units in the Depot
    • Implements measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling and despatch of products in the depot terminal

    Station Supervisor

    Description

    The Station Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail station. 

    Requirements

    • A minimum of second class lower in HND/ B.Sc.
    • Minimum of One (1) year relevant experience in the Retail Marketing/Sales/Business development.
    • Experience working in the oil and gas or related industry

    Responsibility

    • Opens the station daily and ensures it is fit to run for the day, as well as securing it when activities are closed.
    • Takes meter readings, dips underground tanks to confirm stock quantity at keeps a log of the readings.
    • Executes the front-line coordination of the sales activities of the pump attendants.
    • Responds to any issues or queries that may arise from customers or fuel pump attendants in the discharge of their duties.
    • Liaises with external stakeholders who come for enquiries concerning Rainoil Products
    • Performs opening and closing meter readings to ascertain the quantity of stock sold for the day.
    • Prepares daily and weekly reports to the station manager concerning the activities that have occurred in the station.
    • Coordinates the offloading of stock to the station’s tanks from the trucks.
    • Inspects the sales and safety equipment in the station to ascertain they are compliant with HSE standards.
    • Prepares retail stations’ inventory reports to ensure products are tracked and are always available at outlets

    Station Account Officer

    Description

    Responsible for managing sales transaction and maintaining accurate financial records for the station.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of an HND/BSc. in accounting, economics or Finance
    • Minimum of One years’ relevant experience

    CNG Business Development Manager

    Description

    • Responsible for driving the identification and evaluation of new Gas facility locations.
    • Driving Gas expansion project e.g. LPG, CNG etc
    • Prospect for new Gas customers (especially bulk, commercial sales)

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a Social science, Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or related discipline is required.
    • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a similar role in a Gas company.
    • Master’s degree can be an added advantage.

    Responsibility

    • Conduct verification visits and feasibility analysis of potential sites for Gas Plants / Facilities basis agreed feasibility criteria.
    • Liaise with Regulatory Agencies to obtain Gas Plants / facilities pre-construction requirements e.g. Permits, Licences, Certificates, Statutory Payments
    • Participate in the monitoring construction / installation of Gas filling plants and skid equipment.
    • Process statutory licenses / permits and ensure that they are up to date.
    • Identify and prospect for new gas customers.
    • Identify and drive establishment of new Gas business expansion projects (CNG, LPG etc)

    Station Manager

    Description

    To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted flow of operations at the station, through effective utilization of human and material resources, and ensuring that staff at the station adhere to the rules/ regulations/ policies that govern conducts in Rainoil. 

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of an BSC in a Social science, Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or related discipline
    • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in the Retail Marketing/Sales/Business development or any related unit.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Monitors and evaluates station operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
    • Evaluation of daily sales, meter reading, dipping and lodgements.
    • Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the Head, Retail Sales.

    • Coordinates both the sales of white products, the lubricants at the stations and liaising with the marketing team to ensure patronage is high in line with budgets and projections. 6. Implements HSE Standards and controls in the retail stations.
