    Mechanical Engineer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the installation, operation, maintenance and improvement of mechanical equipment used in cocoa processing.
    • Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
    • Diagnose mechanical faults and implement sustainable corrective actions.
    • Maintain pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, compressors, boilers, chilled-water systems and other utilities.
    • Support equipment alignment, lubrication, vibration monitoring and condition-based maintenance.
    • Prepare maintenance plans, job cards, service reports and equipment histories.
    • Participate in shutdown planning and major equipment overhauls.
    • Monitor spare-parts requirements and support technical procurement.
    • Work closely with production, utilities, quality and safety teams to minimise downtime.
    • Ensure maintenance activities comply with food-safety, GMP and HSE requirements.
    • Support fabrication, piping, welding and mechanical modification projects.
    • Investigate recurring failures and recommend reliability improvements.

    Preferred Technical Exposure

    Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

    • Food processing or FMCG machinery
    • Cocoa processing equipment
    • Hydraulic presses
    • Roasters, grinders, mills and conveyors
    • Steam systems and boilers
    • Chillers and cooling systems
    • Pumps, compressors and pneumatic systems
    • Preventive and predictive maintenance

    Applicants should possess:

    • B.Eng., B.Sc. or HND in the relevant engineering discipline.
    • Minimum of three years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
    • Practical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, food-processing or FMCG environment.
    • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals and equipment documentation.
    • Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
    • Sound understanding of workplace safety and engineering controls.
    • Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain accurate technical records.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
    • Willingness to work shifts, weekends or during planned shutdowns where required.

    Professional registration with COREN or membership of a recognised engineering body will be an advantage.

    Electrical Engineer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and production equipment.
    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, panels, switchgear, transformers and generators.
    • Diagnose electrical faults and restore equipment safely and promptly.
    • Maintain motor control centres, distribution boards and power-control systems.
    • Support generator operations, synchronization and power distribution.
    • Inspect cables, earthing systems, breakers, relays and electrical protection devices.
    • Support variable frequency drives, soft starters and industrial motor controls.
    • Participate in electrical installation and factory expansion projects.
    • Ensure compliance with approved electrical standards, safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
    • Maintain accurate electrical drawings, maintenance records and equipment histories.
    • Support energy-efficiency and power-quality improvement initiatives.
    • Assist in the specification and procurement of electrical equipment and spare parts.

    Preferred Technical Exposure

    Instrumentation Engineer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot industrial instruments.
    • Maintain temperature, pressure, flow, level, load, speed and position measurement systems.
    • Conduct scheduled calibration of instruments in line with production and quality requirements.
    • Maintain calibration records and ensure traceability of measurement equipment.
    • Diagnose faults involving sensors, transmitters, control valves, actuators and process instruments.
    • Support production and quality teams in resolving process-control deviations.
    • Verify instrument accuracy before equipment start-up and after maintenance.
    • Maintain pneumatic and electronic instrumentation systems.
    • Support installation and commissioning of new process instruments.
    • Participate in root-cause analysis of recurring instrumentation failures.
    • Ensure instruments used at critical control points remain accurate, functional and properly documented.
    • Support compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and internal audit requirements.

    Control and Automation Engineer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain, troubleshoot and improve PLC, SCADA and industrial automation systems.
    • Diagnose control-system faults affecting production equipment.
    • Support PLC programming, modification and backup management.
    • Maintain human-machine interfaces and supervisory-control systems.
    • Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, drives, control panels and communication networks.
    • Support integration of instruments, motors, drives and production equipment.
    • Maintain automation documentation, logic backups, electrical schematics and control narratives.
    • Participate in commissioning of new machinery and control systems.
    • Improve process automation, equipment sequencing and alarm management.
