    Technical/IT Specialist

    Description

    Our client is seeking to fill the position of Technical/IT Specialist.

    The Technical/IT Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organisation's IT systems. The successful candidate will focus on specific computer networks, databases, and system administration. This person will install, configure, service, repair, and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment and will also participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organisation and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing IT solutions and solving issues effectively.
    • Analysing current IT systems, architectures, and processes.
    • Identifying risks, opportunities, faults, and areas for development within the company's IT framework.
    • Executing well-thought-out solutions and plans to improve company efficiencies.
    • Maintaining robust systems processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
    • Developing new IT methods and solutions for the business.
    • Reporting issues, advances made, and other important information to stakeholders.
    • Advising management on weak points, improvement opportunities, and risks in the company's IT infrastructure.
    • Strategizing with other key stakeholders on how to best align IT systems with company objectives.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, information technology, or any related field.
    • Certification and proficiency in a coding language (.NET, Visual Basic, C++, or SQL).
    • At least 2 years of experience in an IT-related position.
    • Knowledge of databases, data processes, program architectures, and data security.
    • Skills in designing, reporting, and documenting implementations and solutions.
    • Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems.
    • Up-to-date insight into the latest developments in the information technology sphere.
    • Ability to work independently and knowledge of agile team structures.
    • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
    • Superb interpersonal and presentation skills.

    Finance and Accounts Manager

    Description

    Our client is seeking to fill the position of Finance and Accounts Manager.

    The Finance and Accounts Manager is to supervise and manage the financial & accounting documentation of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform financial management duties, compiling and submitting financial reports, analysing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
    • month and end-year reporting
    • accounts payable/receivable
    • cash receipts
    • general ledger
    • transaction postings
    • payroll, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting
    • revenue and expenditure analysis
    • capital and assets reconciliations
    • debt management
    • Monitor and analyse accounting data to generate financial reports or statements
    • Establish and ensure the use of proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
    • Coordinate and complete annual audits
    • Improve ,systems, procedures and initiate corrective actions where required.
    • Meet financial accounting objectives
    • Establish and maintain files and records, postings of transactions

    Requirements

    Skills & Competencies

    • Proven experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Time-management abilities
    • Confidentiality.

    Education/ Experience Requirements

    • BSc degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field.
    • Professional certification (ACA/ACCA) is compulsory.
    • MBA is an added advantage.
    • Ideal candidate should have at least 10 years relatable work experience

    Business Development Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
    • In Charge of Managing the relationship between the hotel and online Travel Agents.
    • Collaborate with Event Planners and Human Resource trainers on tactics to sell Astoria Event halls
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
    • Proactively Calling already existing clients for continued business and referral.
    • Responsible for working closely with digital Marketers to ensure online selling, converting strategies and must be competent at digital Sales tactics.
    • Responsible for Achieving Monthly Sales Target Assigned.
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
    • Develops promotional and Marketing master plan for weekly room sales.

    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

    • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / BA / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Science, or relevant field.
    • 2 - 3 years experience in customer support is a plus
    • Proven working experience as a business development Executive, sales executive, or a relevant role
    • Proven sales track record
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
    • Proficiency in English
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport
    • Time management and planning skills.

    Salary
    N150,000 monthly.
