    Business Development Manager

    Summary

    • As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding the company’s customer base in B2B (Business-to-Business), B2C (Business-to-Consumer) and Corporate segments.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth in B2B, B2C, and Corporate segments.
    • Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients, and developing strategic partnerships.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Lead the development and execution of B2C marketing and corporate sales strategies to attract and retain customers.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to drive customer acquisition and retention.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential B2B and Corporate clients and B2C customers to showcase the company’s products or services.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with B2B clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, customer support, and product development to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and changes in the competitive landscape to identify business growth opportunities.
    • Review and analyse sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field MBA is an added advantage.
    • Professional membership/certification within the industry is a mandatory
    • At least 5 years’ professional experience in a similar role, with 3 years in a supervisory role
    • Experience in the travel industry, in B2B, B2C and Corporate sales is mandatory
    • Strong prospecting skills and Excellent negotiation and closing skills
    • Exceptional verbal, written & presentation communication skills
    • Excellent customer service delivery focus
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
    • Excellent attitude and work ethics
    • Excellent Leadership and Managerial skills

    Head of Sales

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share across the corporate, affiliate, and subagency segments for both online and offline channels.
    • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the travel industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth across corporate, affiliate, and subagency segments.
    • Identify and penetrate new markets, partnerships, and opportunities to expand the agency’s footprint.
    • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team success and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to deliver exceptional performance.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients to understand their travel needs and offer tailored solutions.
    • Develop and negotiate contracts with corporate clients to secure long-term partnerships.
    • Collaborate with the operations and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery for corporate clients.
    • Drive growth in the affiliate and subagency channels by building a robust partner network.
    • Create incentive structures, training programs, and marketing support to enable affiliates and subagents meet sales targets.
    • Regularly engage with affiliate and subagency partners to address challenges, optimize performance, and strengthen relationships.
    • Ensure the integration of sales strategies across online and offline platforms to maximize customer reach and revenue.
    • Oversee the implementation of digital tools and technologies to streamline sales operations and improve customer engagement.
    • Leverage analytics and insights from online channels to inform offline strategies, and vice versa.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop competitive offerings and campaigns.
    • Represent the agency at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish partnerships.
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
    • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
    • Conduct regular reviews of sales team performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
    • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 4–6years in a leadership role within the travel, tour or hospitality industry.
    • In-depth understanding of the travel industry, including OTA dynamics, corporate travel needs, and subagency operations.
    • Proven success in managing corporate, affiliate, and subagency sales channels within. the travel or hospitality industry
    • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, and data analytics platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of online and offline sales techniques and best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse sales teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
    • Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and create actionable strategies.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
