    Settlement and Reconciliation Lead

    • The Settlement and Reconciliation Lead is responsible for resolving all issues arising from electronic transactions and perform automated back-office processing such as dispute processing, settlement, reconciliation and reporting.
    • In addition and more specifically, the S&R Lead must be able to create chart of accounts, provide insights and product documentation to developers and product managers so as to ensure our infrastructure has automated and accurate settlement and reconciliation processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Processing and settlement of transactions initiated from account/wallet transfers, debit or credit cards and USSD and other modes across various platforms
    • Ability to develop processes for chart of accounts to take into consideration transaction ID’s, statutory transaction cost, revenue share etc and other parameters that ensure accurate settlement and reconciliation of transactions
    • Attending to customer and merchant disputes and ensuring prompt resolution
    • Liaising with switching companies and card schemes on Settlement issues
    • Rendition of daily CBN regulatory requirement report
    • Settlement of transactions routed through various payments platforms
    • Development and implementation of strategies to reduce operational risk and ensure safe and reliable settlement processing.
    • Daily reconciliation of accounts for exceptions and subsequent escalation of exceptions to the switch and other vendors or third parties for resolution.
    • Ensures timely reconciliation of all transactions done on the bank’s terminals
    • Performs settlement of interbank card transactions such as VISA, MasterCard, Verve
    • Executes chargebacks and dispute resolutions of local and international cards transactions
    • Performs electronic transaction analytics and reporting using SQL and Excel.
    • Develop Business Requirement Documents and SOPs for the automation of settlement processes

    Head Office & Branch Operations Auditor

    About The Role

    • Head Office & Branch Operations Auditor shall support the Chief Audit Officer and Director in aligning Internal Audit strategy with the overall business strategy of Moniepoint Group and act as an early warning system for business and financial risks, support business ethics and integrity initiatives. This role requires someone who is organized and methodical who has very strong audit and risk assessment experience

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Director, Head Office & Branch Operations Audit with developing audit plans, procedures, and programs for Head Office & Branch operations, which will be used to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control environment.
    • Conduct enterprise risk assessment to identify significant processes with inherent risks, evaluate control design, perform tests of controls, and carry out overall assessment of internal controls and implementation across all Head Office functions and Branch Operations.
    • Monitor and validate, as appropriate, accounting practices (including revenue assurance, cost optimization, treasury & financial report auditing and tax auditing) and strategies to optimize business performance.
    • Perform audit review and prepare audit reports. Must ensure that audit evidences are appropriately collated and stored, and must ensure that audit working papers are adequately populated.
    • Perform first level review of audit reports and supporting work papers of Seniors and Associates to ensure that reports are well written, and findings, conclusions and recommendations are properly supported, prior to sharing with the Director and Chief Audit Officer for review.
    • Work with the Chief Audit Officer and Director to ensure that all the performance indicators in the annual goals of the Internal Audit Division are achieved.
    • Develop competence and capacity of Audit Seniors and Associates with training and coaching that reflect auditing best practices. Supervise and evaluate the performance of Audit Seniors and Associates.
    • Collaborate with other Divisional Directors and Managers within Internal Audit to ensure that activities of Internal Audit are effectively and efficiently coordinated.
    • Where required, represent Internal Audit at meetings with other business divisions in Moniepoint Group and external stakeholders.
    • Perform other job (ad hoc) related duties assigned by the Chief Audit Officer and Director.

    • As the Growth Leader for our Business Banking division, you will take charge of growing Moniepoint’s SME market share in Nigeria. 
    • You will be responsible to drive penetration, customer acquisition, engagement and retention with the goal of achieving market leadership for our Business Banking division, our flagship business division and the backbone of our financial success as a company. 
    • In this role, you will take charge of growing Moniepoint’s business banking market share in Nigeria, which spans our whole portfolio of banking products for businesses. 
    • You will be responsible to drive penetration and customer acquisition with the goal of achieving market leadership for business banking. 
    • We are looking for a seasoned business leader who has strong data analytics and product experience with app based products. 
    • Our ideal candidate has hands on experience working in a data function, and ideally within product management, and has led growth or sales or business development, is highly analytical, has a strong drive and is results oriented.

    Requirements

    • Analytical mindset - Ability to work with and manipulate data effectively, on your own. You have been in a data analytics role, or in something similar, in the past. We have a preference for someone strong in data analysis over someone who has spent the majority of their career in sales and other commercial roles. We will ask for multiple examples of how you used data to drive usage, and profitable growth of products in the past.
