    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Production of high quality pharmaceutical products in accordance with GMP principles
    • Assist the Production Manager in planning and initiation of employment of qualified personnel, procurement of production equipment and establishment of investment budgets for producing the required production volumes
    • Update and enforce GMP, compliance, Safety, security and ecological regulations.
    • Control correctness/ completeness of batch documentation and production records. Review at prescribed intervals data entries of production documents

    Job Summary

    • You are expected to be able to analyzes production costs (materials, labor, overhead), manages inventory valuation, develops standard costs, monitors variances against budgets, and provides financial insights for cost reduction, profitability analysis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze raw materials, labor, and overhead costs; prepare reports on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and gross margin.
    • Standard Costing: Develop, maintain, and update standard costs for products, materials, and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
    • Variance Analysis: Monitor and explain differences between actual costs and standard/budgeted costs, identifying root causes.
    • Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory accounts, analyze cycle counts, value inventory, and identify discrepancies.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasts for manufacturing expenses, tracking actuals against plans.
    • Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, reconcile cost accounts, and support the overall closing process.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve cost issues and improve processes.
    • Profitability Analysis: Analyze profitability by product, customer, or job.

    Essential Skills:

    • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP
