    HRBP – Lead

    Job Description

    • Consult with SBU head and provide daily HR guidance
    • Supervise all HRBP’s activities and render HRBP monthly report
    • Prepare monthly salary report to finance
    • Prepare monthly report of HR activities for each SBU
    • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
    • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
    • Identify recruitment gaps and source for qualified candidates
    • Drive the implementation of policies and ensure adherence
    • Drive Talent management strategies though the SBU
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures.

    Requirements
    Minimum Qualification

    • At least 7 years work experience as an HRBP (preferably in downstream, or consulting space)
    • BSC in any related field
    • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
    • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
    • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
    • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
    • Must be located in Warri, Nigeria or Be Willing to Relocate

    Workshop Manager/Automotive Engineer

    Job Description
    This position's incumbent will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the Warri maintenance yard. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for optimum utilization of resources available for the maintenance yard in terms of machinery, manpower, utilities, consumables etc. for the various jobs.
    • Ensure that the activities of the yard are well coordinated to complete the jobs received within the allocated time frame and quality parameters.
    • Develop and implement a system to ensure regular maintenance service for the trucks and for breakdown related activities.
    • Coordinate operation resources and workshop staff for improved productivity ensure strict adherence
    • to all safety standard while working.
    • Raise productivity and efficiency of workshop services, by reducing complaints, rework orders, and breakdowns
    • Ensure that planning, scheduling, and unscheduled repairs are carried out efficiently and cost effectively.
    • Trains and assists Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.
    • Supervise, schedules, or assigns work to mechanics and other maintenance personnel.
    • Tests vehicles to troubleshoot problems and/or tests repairs to ensure proper and safe completion.
    • Prepares spare parts performance and researches best brands for use.

    Requirements
    Qualifications and other skill sets.

    • HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in Commercial Vehicles)
    • Minimum of 10 years strong Engineering experience with an established Commercial Vehicle Workshop (Trucks specifically)
    • Perfect knowledge of Auto Trucks.
    • Problem solving skill and team spirit.
    • Product knowledge & skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.
    • Ability to guide & train others.
    • Good communication ability both verbally and in writing.
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package

    The Head, Projects is to oversee and supervise all activities of the construction project from start to finish. You will be required to coordinate with other employees and personnel on the project requirements and ensure they are delivered on time. You are responsible for the smooth functioning of this construction project and its successful deliverance.

    Responsibilities

    • Hands-on experience in overseeing the construction project from start to finish.

    • Develop and manage project budgets in line with costing and quantity

    • Coordinate with architects and engineers to understand the project details and requirements.

    • Ensure quality products and materials are used at all times

    • Ability to organize, control and manage time

    • Carryout periodic and routine repairs and maintenance at all locations

    • Knowledge of best practices in construction and architecture.

    • Exposure to the construction industry and its various responsibilities

    • Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments.

    • Ensure permits and licenses are obtained and maintained in order.

    • Recruit personnel and contractors for the project as per requirements.

    • Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to personnel and ensure they are carried out.

    • Monitor the performance of personnel on site and provide directions and feedback as and when required.

    • Ensure resources are being used to the optimum to provide best results.

    • Address any grievance of personnel.

    • Report any discrepancies to superiors and implement effective and timely solutions.

    • Ensure all legal, health and safety regulations are being followed throughout the project.

     

    Requirements

    • 5 – 7 years relevant work experience in relevant field.

    • Bachelor’s in Civil, Building or Construction engineering, Quantity Surveyor Architecture or relevant professions.

    • Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus.

    • Team player and collaborative nature.

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    • Strong multitasking, time management and organisational skills.

    • Excellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures.

    • Well versed with construction and project management software.

    • Completion of projects based on agreed timelines
    • Timely completion of all structural designs on time for commencement of planned projects
    • Timely preparation of construction budget
    • Ensure that there is no budget overrun on each project
    • Track project timelines and ensure timely completion
    • Timely and error free periodical reports
    • Ensure all periodic repairs and maintenance are carried out based on timelines
    • Strict adherence to all HSSE requirements
