    Account Manager

    Job Brief

    • You are responsible for managing the financial aspects of the supermarket’s operations.
    • Your role includes financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standard

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and monitor the supermarket’s budget, ensuring that financial goals and targets are met.
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
    • Manage payroll functions, including calculating employee salaries, benefits, and tax deductions, and ensure timely payroll processing
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns.
    • Monitor inventory levels, perform regular stock reconciliations, and report any discrepancies.
    • Monitor cash flow, oversee cash handling procedures, and manage banking relationships.

    Requirements and skills

    • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
    • 2-4 years experience as an accountant preferably in a supermarket is an added advantage
    • A professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN is a plus.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Secretary

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a Secretary who will support the office in administrative and clerical duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Attendance to customers, handling inquires and complaints.
    • Receive incoming calls and redirect them when necessary.
    • Perform administrative tasks, organization and keeping of files and records.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in any relevant field of study.
    • 1- 2 years of experience as a secretary or similar role.
    • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
    • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft word, Excel and Power point, Canva is an added advantage.
    • Candidate who is outspoken, eloquent and can represent the company at events/radio stations would be most preferable.
