JOB SUMMARY

Position requires knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering as applicable in cement production. Responsible to execute independently work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of techniques, procedures and criteria.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-ordinate and supervises electrical and instrumentation task
• Ensure availability of all electrical and instrumentation equipment for production
• Ensure Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Schedules are correctly executed
• Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Procedures
• Follow-up with Electrical Planner on Spares for execution
• Assigns and co-ordinate work to E&I Technicians and ensure close-out of assigned tasks. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to perform duties outside of this as operationally required

PROFILE REQUIRED:

Level of education/qualifications normally required:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree, B.SC Degree, HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Specific Work Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years in modern integrated cement/large scale industry in the similar field.
• Medium and Low Voltage Electric Motors and their Applications.
• ABB Switch-Gears.
• 11KV/400V Power Distribution Panels and Motor Centre.
• Cement Industrial Instrumentation and Controls.
• Membership of relevant regulatory bodies (COREN,NSE)is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision.
• Ability to lead people of diverse cultures and manage functions
• Hand-On experience on ABB and Siemens Variable Frequency/Speed Drives.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer Skills especially Excel, word, PowerPoint and email applications.

JOB SUMMARY

• The Environmental Coordinator ensures implementation of the organization’s Environmental plan and procedures, trained personnel in the proper response to environmental impact, hazards and control measures.
• Ensure Compliance to Environmental laws and Regulations within the plant.
• Coordinates General housekeeping, waste disposal, and other environmental related KPI to improve performance and ensure sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that the plant meets her environmental statutory/legal requirements
• Ensures regular measurement of plant emissions and discharges, Monitor, Report and Propose measures to control deviation.
• Check that all primary corrective measures (calibration, seals, etc.) are implemented
• Collating Environmental parameters for monthly reporting and participating in Internal & External Audits
• Perform regular variance analyses on priority key environmental indicators and propose corrective actions
• Ensure that quarry exploitation standards and techniques are properly enforced
• Ensure that storage and handling of all hazardous materials are properly done
• Implement waste management plan with the means needed to minimize, recycle and treat waste generated by the plant
• To promote plant image as responsible to its environmental obligations.
• To liaise with process and quality department on Plant optimization
• To ensure environmental monitoring test equipments e.g. emission and noise equipments are always in good working condition and are regularly calibrated to assure accuracy.
• To initiate actions to prevent environmental non-compliance
• In conjunction with production manager or delegate, carry out regular inspections of water drainages in the plant and ensure corrective steps are taken in the event of blockages.
• Ensures healthy working conditions and safety at work for all plant personnel
• Ensure proper planning of work, resources and execution of tasks.
• Follow up on the implementation of Biodiversity Management Plan and Quarry Rehabilitation Plan.
• Organize Environment Awareness Program/Talks/Activities for the plant
• Champion and facilitate housekeeping initiatives in the plant.
• To write required environmental reports for local authorities i.e. ISO 14001 compliance, plant environmental reports, environmental compliance/ performance reports etc.
• To supervise environmental projects and coordinates ISO 14001 certification
• Other assigned duties.

JOB SUMMARY

Drive and be accountable for category performance and initiatives in own Country and others where responsibility has been assigned in the category charter. Where and when appropriate participate in regional or global category management teams representing own Country

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Participate in the management of cluster categories for the LafargeHolcim group by representing own Country in cross-functional teams with full accountability for category performance
• Develop Procurement category strategies as a member of the category management team that are integrated and aligned with overall global strategies, and with the LafargeHolcim business
• Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements in own and other Countries, in line with regional and global strategies.
• Identify saving opportunities and initiate individual projects and initiatives at all operational levels
• Where and when appropriate represent and serve other Countries without direct category management representation for the respective category(ies) and be accountable for delivery of savings in these and own Country
• Drive initiatives and projects, identify and remove potential barriers to success
• Ensure that local strategies are integrated and in alignment with the regional and global category approach and LafargeHolcim stakeholders.
• Align stakeholders through focused change management programs
• In line with regional and global strategies, design and execute strategic projects and targets

PROFILE REQUIRED

• BSc./HND minimum
• Minimum 3 years in strategic procurement role (category management, sourcing) with exposure to supply chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
• Demonstrated performance in working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
• Engineering or Operational back ground would be advantages
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively/convincingly at all levels (including technical and operational) and with all functions at least in English
• Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed time-frame and in a pressured environment

JOB SUMMARY

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Carry out lubrication tasks as assigned by superior and SAP PM
• Ensure detailed daily lubrication reporting
• Update Lubrication activities on Excel and any available lubrication files.
• Ensure own safety and that of equipment, should be aware of work-related safety hazards.
• Collect lubricants from stores, handle and store properly in assigned place.
• Maintain/Clean the lubricant dispensing equipment / tools in order and best practices.
• Inspect the lubrication points at site and report findings to superior and concerned employees.
• Maintain lubrication activities and site observation reports daily.
• Ensure Oil Sampling, Labelling and hand on report review
• Use LubExpert to analysis MV Motor bearings before greasing.
• Ensure good housekeeping before and after lubrication tasks.

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Level of Education/Qualifications normally required: NABTEB, NID, ND in Mechanical Engineering and any other relevant Technical Certificate.
• Specific Work experience: 2 years working experience in same industry or any heavy industry operations. Experience in multi-national companies is an added advantage.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Knowledge of cement manufacturing process or other heavy industry operations and processes.
• Knowledge of lubricants (grease and oil).
• Knowledge of Safety and Occupational health related hazards associated with lubrication practices.
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency (including good knowledge of PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge SAP and SAP FC is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively under time pressure, in a demanding environment, while maintaining the highest professional standards.
