    Senior Associate, Infrastructure & Major Project Advisory

    Job Summary

    • KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate for the Infrastructure and Major Projects unit of our Deal Advisory practice. KPMG’s Infrastructure team assists clients with financial advisory functions on private and public infrastructure projects. The team delivers high-quality and exceptional services in relation to project finance modelling, business planning for companies and project SPVs, financial and commercial feasibilities, Public Private Partnership (PPP) procurement management and negotiation supports, identifying and mitigating project risks throughout the project lifecycle. The team’s strength lies on infrastructure transaction experience, deep knowledge of oil and gas, power and transportation sectors, multidisciplinary teams, and substantive experience in managing both the financial and technical aspects of major capital projects and programs. 
    • You will participate in the delivery of our Infrastructure practice objectives, building relationships with senior management in client organisations, originating business opportunities in project finance, asset management, project preparation, and blended finance, and identifying other tools or mechanisms to mobilise financing for large infrastructure projects across sectors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prior exposure in the field of structured or project finance, public-private partnerships (PPP), renewable energy, feasibility studies, and large or complex infrastructure projects.
    • Support the senior management in the assessment and development of major pipelines of qualifying infrastructure opportunities 
    • Work closely with managers and senior management to drive the day-to-day delivery of infrastructure engagements to KPMG’s quality.
    • Development of business cases, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, value-for-money analysis, public-private comparator project screening matrixes, decision models and risk assessment matrixes.
    • Develop complex financing models and vehicles suitable for infrastructure projects given their complex and multifaceted nature.
    • Advising on financial arrangements and structuring of project finance deals
    • Providing support, as required by the infrastructure team in delivering on engagements/mandates

    Requirements

    • A minimum of second class (upper division) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (including English and Mathematics).
    • Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Management or any related field; or CFA / ACA / ACCA
    • 4-6 years relevant experience in infrastructure-related fields such as project development, structuring, feasibility studies, project finance and syndications (including hands-on experience in guarantees and/or equity transactions), policy advice, infrastructure project management (such as concept to commissioning and project monitoring support), financial modeling, and transaction advisory related activities.
    • Experience working on PPP transactions and procurement processes will also be an added advantage
    • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

    Manager, Deal Advisory – Infrastructure

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Seven (7) years relevant experience in infrastructure-related fields such as project development, structuring, feasibility studies, project finance and syndications (including hands-on experience in guarantees and/or equity transactions), policy advice, infrastructure project management (such as concept to commissioning and project monitoring support), mitigating credit and other risks, negotiating term sheets and finance documentations, financial modeling and transaction advisory related activities.
    • Experience working on PPP transactions and procurement process will also be an added advantage
    • Experience working with at least one of the major project finance banks or multilateral development banks, and relevant consulting experience would also be considered).
    • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects for different stakeholders and balance time across these appropriately.
