    Head of B2B Partnerships & Distribution

    THE ROLE (SUMMARY)

    • You will own Kanda Natural’s B2B growth: sourcing and onboarding retail partners and distributors, managing key accounts, co-creating trade marketing programs, and ensuring consistent distribution and sell-through. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can both strategize and execute.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own new business for retail, wholesale, hospitality, and institutional channels (spas, beauty stores, pharmacies, hotels, corporate gifting).
    • Source, onboard, and manage distributors, stockists and regional wholesalers; negotiate commercial terms and SLAs.
    • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
    • Develop and execute territory go-to-market plans and channel-specific sales strategies.
    • Work with marketing to create trade/promotional kits, POP displays, training for retail staff, and joint promotions.
    • Represent Kanda at trade shows, buyer meetings and B2B events.
    • Train and enable distributor teams and retail staff on product benefits, merchandising and conversion techniques.
    • Track performance (sell-in, sell-through, returns, stock levels) and produce regular pipeline and performance reports.
    • Identify opportunities for channel expansion (e.g., pharmacies, supermarket chains, corporate partnerships) and new revenue streams (private label, subscription, exports).
    • Ensure customer service and logistics handoffs operate smoothly with fulfilment partners.

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (KPIS)

    • 5-10 new stockists /10-15 new distribution points in first 6 months.
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
    • Maintain 70% sell-through rate within 60 days.
    • Achieve atleast one reorder per quarter per active distributor.
    • Establish poresence in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt within 6-9 months.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & PROFILE

    • We are seeking a candidate with a strong demonstrable background — the more relevant and senior the experience, the better.

    ESSENTIALS:

    • 5+ years in B2B sales, distribution management, channel development or trade marketing — 3+ years in a managerial or senior-exec capacity.
    • Proven track record in managing distributors/stockists, negotiating commercial terms, and scaling channels in Nigeria (experience across two or more regions or cities preferred).
    • Experience in beauty/skincare, personal care, FMCG, or retail distribution, with knowledge of retail buying cycles and merchandising.
    • Demonstrated ability to build pipelines, close commercial agreements and meet/exceed sales targets.
    • Hands-on familiarity with distributor KPIs, order management, and basic P&L commercial logic.
    • Strong network of retail/ distributor contacts in Nigeria — pharmacies, beauty chains, concept stores, hospitality procurement or FMCG distributors is a plus.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation and people-management skills.
    • Comfortable with field travel and store-level activations.

    NICE-TO-HAVE:

    • Experience running trade marketing campaigns, POS programs or retailer staff training.
    • Exposure to export channels or cross-border distribution in West Africa.
    • CRM / distribution management system experience (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, TradeGecko, or similar).
    • Experience managing a sales team or distributor network of 3+ field reps.
    • Formal qualification in business, marketing, or related field.

    Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager (Mid–level)

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager will own Kanda Natural’s digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and the website.
    • This role requires a mid-level professional who can strategize, create content, manage community engagement, run basic ads, optimize website performance, and track results.
    • You will work closely with the founder and creative team to build brand equity, grow sales, and ensure all digital touchpoints reflect Kanda’s authentic, elegant, friendly, and caring brand voice.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Social Media Strategy & Management

    • Develop and execute a monthly social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
    • Publish 5–6 high-quality posts per week (Reels, photos, carousels, stories, educational content).
    • Maintain a cohesive brand identity consistent with Kanda Natural’s tone and aesthetic.
    • Manage content calendars, campaign planning, and product launch communication.
    • Grow and nurture the Kanda community across all platforms.

    Content Creation

    • Create compelling, visually consistent content (short videos, reels, photos, educational posts, tutorials).
    • Write brand-aligned copy that is elegant, friendly, authentic, and caring.
    • Produce product storytelling content that highlights African botanicals and sustainability.

    Community Management

    • Build rapport with followers, customers, and brand advocates.
    • Identify UGC (user-generated content) opportunities.

    Digital Marketing & Advertising

    • Set up and manage basic Meta ads (awareness, engagement, traffic, conversions).
    • Run retargeting campaigns and monitor ad performance.
    • Work with photographer/videographer when needed to capture campaign assets.

    Website & E-Commerce Updates

    • Update the website with new product listings, images, blogs, and promotions.
    • Ensure mobile optimization, clean navigation, and accurate product information.
    • Monitor website traffic, SEO performance, and conversion behaviour.

    Reporting & Insights

    • Track weekly and monthly performance KPIs.
    • Provide recommendations to improve content, engagement, impressions, and sales.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

    • Clear, measurable KPIs to track performance monthly.

    Social Media Growth

    • +8–12% monthly follower growth across Instagram & TikTok.
    • 10,000+ monthly engaged accounts (likes, comments, shares, saves).
    • Reach 50,000–150,000 accounts monthly through organic + paid content.

    Content Output

    • 20–24 posts per month (mix of Reels, photos, carousels, stories).
    • Minimum 8 Reels per month (product education, UGC, BTS, storytelling).
    • Maintain 90%+ content quality score (consistent brand voice, visuals, messaging).

    Community Management

    • 80–90% response rate to comments within 1–2 hours.
    • 5–10 qualified sales leads per day via DMs/WhatsApp (from organic + paid).

    Website & SEO

    • Monthly website visitors: 1,500–3,000+
    • 3–5% website conversion rate from social media traffic
    • At least 2 blog posts uploaded monthly.

    Ad Performance

    • CPC target: ₦30–₦120
    • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend): 3x–5x on small campaign budgets
    • Cost per lead: ₦100–₦350 (corporate & events targeting)

    Sales Impact

    • Generate 15–30 direct orders/month attributed to social media.
    • 5–10 corporate/event gift leads per week during peak gifting seasons.

    MONTHLY DELIVERABLES

    • 1 monthly content calendar (approved before publishing).
    • 1 monthly ad campaign (awareness / engagement / conversion).
    • Weekly analytics report (engagement, reach, leads, website traffic).
    • Monthly strategy report with insights and improvement recommendations.
    • Monthly product education content (Reels + Carousels).
    • Monthly website updates (new listings, SEO, blog posts).

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3–5+ years experience in social media management or digital marketing.
    • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills in brand voice.
    • Proficient with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite (image & video editing).
    • Experience running Meta Ads (Instagram & Facebook).
    • Familiarity with SEO, website updates (WordPress/Shopify), and analytics tools.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple platforms concurrently.
    • Passion for natural skincare, sustainability, and African wellness culture is a plus.
