    Head of Operations

    Job Responsibilities

    • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations to join our dynamic team in an equity trading environment. 
    • The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in CRM management, client relations, and operational excellence. 
    • As Head of Operations, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service, while driving process improvements that enhance overall business performance and efficiency.
    • Oversee the effective use of the CRM system to track client interactions, generate operational reports, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance client engagement.
    • Ensure high-quality client service by managing both in-person and digital interactions. Provide tailored solutions to client inquiries and build lasting relationships to improve satisfaction and client retention.
    • Supervise client communication processes, ensuring timely, professional, and effective responses across all channels including email, walk-ins, and CRM-driven touchpoints.
    • Monitor and oversee daily trading operations to ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance with SEC, NSE, CSCS, and other regulatory bodies’ standards.
    • Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and establish controls to minimize risk, reduce errors, and enhance productivity across operational units.
    • Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations to the executive team and stakeholders, highlighting key operational metrics, performance trends, and strategic recommendations.
    • Daily trade reconciliation and settlements.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Nigerian capital market, including trading trends, economic shifts, and regulatory developments, to ensure operations align with market dynamics.
    • Develop and implement training programs for the operations team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Focus on continuous professional development and process improvement.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior operations staff, helping them grow professionally and fostering a high-performance culture. Encourage skill development, career advancement, and alignment with the company’s operational goals.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • 5 – 7 years of experience in operations management within a stock broking or financial services company.
    • Strong proficiency in CRM software (Zoho, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience with CSCS and Symplus software is mandatory.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian stock market and its operational dynamics.
    • Proven experience in client engagement and effective problem-solving.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage a team and drive performance.

    Receptionist / Personal Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Group Managing Director.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the Group Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.
    • Greet and welcome guests with grace and professionalism.
    • Manage phone calls and correspondence with impeccable etiquette.
    • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
    • Provide administrative support and handle basic inquiries.
    • Utilize computer systems efficiently for tasks like scheduling and communication.
    • Support HR and administrative teams with clerical tasks.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor 's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Secretary, Personal Assistant etc preferably supporting senior executives.

    Recovery Officer

    Job Requirements

    • Follow up on major debtors to resolve Loan repayment challenges before default.
    • Working to repossess / recover Assets and properties of defaulting Loan Clients e.g; Bikes, Cars e.t.c..
    • Monitor Loan Portfolio of the Bank for the purpose of resolving issues with NPL (Non-Performing Loans) and scaling down the overall
    • Portfolio at Risk of the Bank.
    • Carry out regular calls, site and follow up visits, to implement remedial strategies and action plans agreed with the Team Lead.
    • Raise and tender Demand Notices to defaulting customers of the Bank
    • Review all credit files for proper documentation and monitoring.
    • Provide progress reports on interactions with Loan Customers in respect of Loan repayment status.
    • Monitor and obtain background information and feedback on all accounts assigned to the Assets & Recovery Agencies to ensure
    • Accounts to them are fully recovered.
    • Monitoring and recovery of Past due obligations / Expired Loans in the Bank.
    • Follow up on sale of securities deposited for collateral alongside the legal department after other remedial strategies have been exhausted.
    • Preparation and recommendation of strategies for recoveries on major assigned accounts to the Team Lead.
    • Preparation of Payment Vouchers to Business Partners for Loan repayment deduction and remittance.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years of experience.
