Job Description

• Attend to customers in the restaurant.
• Receive payments from customers.
• Ensure the restaurant is neat and tidy at all times.
• Ensure food is prepared based on food preparation requirements.
• Ensure meals are produced on time, and sufficient quantities are available.
• Maintain stock levels of all restaurant supplies.

Requirements

• SSCE or OND holders Only.
• 1 - 3 years experience as a Cashier or sales representative in a Restaurant.
• Excellent cooking skills with ability to prepare several dishes.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment/ under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Candidates should live close to the location, preferably around Ikeja.

Job Summary

• The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the day to day running of the restaurant; maintaining food quality, service quality, staff management and the general administration of the Restaurant.

Job Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
• Managing budgets, Planning menus.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
• Promoting and marketing the business.
• Overseeing stock levels, Ordering supplies.
• Producing staff rotas.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints, taking reservations.
• Greeting and advising customers.
• Handling administration and paperwork.
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.

Job Requirements

• First Degree in Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• 5 -10 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Food and Beverage administration.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
