    Refinery Operator Premium Edible Oil Products Limited

    PURPOSE

    To operate and monitor refinery process units efficiently, ensuring safe, reliable, and quality production in line with operational and HSE standards.

    THE JOB

    • Receiving crude oil/ram materials from the storage tank into the buffer tank
    • Loading / Preparation of materials/ utility unit for production (phosphoric acid, caustic soda etc. as applicable) and ensuring optimum usage of the unit materials in a safe manner.
    • Monitoring proper chemical dosage consumption daily
    • Prepare and submit reports of production
    • Timely communication with internal customers (laboratory, tank farm, and utility)
    • Implementing the supervisor’s directives according to the choice recipe as applicable.
    • Adhere to proper hygiene standards, keep the environment clean and tidy including the machines/equipment.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have good knowledge of refinery operations and process equipment.
    • Be able to monitor and control production parameters efficiently.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be safety conscious and adhere strictly to operational procedures.
    • Demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum requirement: OND or equivalent science or Engineering field

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum requirement: 2 years’ cognate experience.

    Production Officer Premium Edible Oil Products Limited

    PURPOSE

    Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the edible oil refinery through the effective use and management of an automated system.

    THE JOB

    • Oversee refinery operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
    • Ensure adherence to pre-set process parameters and product specifications.
    • Prepare and execute corrective maintenance tasks for all refinery sections.
    • Collaborate with the technical department to implement preventive maintenance programs for all refinery equipment.
    • Work with the refinery process manager to oversee the ordering and inventory of consumables and spares.
    • Monitor chemical consumption, costs, and expenditures.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have a good understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.
    • Be able to monitor daily production activities to ensure targets and quality standards are met.
    • Possess strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrate problem-solving ability and attention to detail in process optimization

    Site IT Officer Northern Nigerian Flour Mills, Kano

    PURPOSE

    Responsible for overseeing seamless IT operations at the site, serving as the primary IT contact point for maintaining site technology infrastructure, providing expert technical support and effective implementation of IT policies.

    THE JOB

    • Ensure the availability and reliability of the network, servers, and other critical IT infrastructure.
    • Acting as a liaison between the site and HQ IT Unit to ensure alignment with company-wide IT strategies and initiatives.
    • Educating users on IT tools, systems, and best practices.
    • Maintaining site-specific IT documentation, such as SOPs and inventories.
    • Collaborating on IT migrations, upgrades, and installations.

    Workshop Officer – Auto Electrical Golden Sugar Company - SUNTI

    PURPOSE

    The Workshop Officer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all auto-electrical repair and maintenance activities in the workshop. The role ensures that vehicles, tractors, and heavy-duty equipment electrical systems are properly diagnosed, repaired, and maintained in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies.

    THE JOB

    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of auto electricians in the workshop.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, tractors, and heavy machinery.
    • Oversee the installation and maintenance of wiring, lighting, ignition, charging, air-conditioning, and other electronic systems.
    • Allocate tasks to workshop staff, monitor progress, and ensure quality of work.
    • Provide technical support, guidance, and training to auto electricians and trainees.
    • Maintain records of repairs, parts usage, and service history.
    • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and equipment management systems.
    • Be proficient in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Be able to prepare maintenance forecasts, track work orders, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Higher National Diploma/B.Tech. in Auto Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
