    Project Coordinator

    Mission Objective 

    • The Continuous Improvement Office at EHA Clinics is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and efficiency by leading the implementation of Lean-based Quality Management Systems.
    • Our mission is to enhance processes, service delivery, and operational outcomes through quality improvement initiatives and data-driven performance assessments.

    Duties & Responsibilities 
    Purpose:

    • Drive the implementation of integrated delivery of all projects, products, services across EHA clinics. 
    • Coordinate and support Project development activities. 
    • Drive the efficient use of Asana across EHA Clinics. 
    • Preparing Project status report and documentation. Manage daily administrative functions within the department.

    Engagement:

    • Foster cross-team collaboration with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues of service delivery.
    • Coordinate on-boarding training and subsequently develop added training materials/guides on the utilization of Asana. 
    • Engage with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution. 
    • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. 
    • Collaborate with product owners to develop engagement and promotion of services.

     Delivery:

    • Coordinate individual tasks assigned to stakeholders on Asana to ensure deadlines are met. 
    • Drive the accomplishment of Organisational goals. 
    • Monitor and evaluate output of integrated services and develop plans to support continuous improvement. 
    • Planning and execution of integrated delivery projects which includes project progress management, and measuring performance.

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge  

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or any related discipline.
    • Knowledge of basic project management principles and methodologies. 
    • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project and Asana. 
    • Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Pharmacist

    Mission Objective

    • The pharmacy unit provides medical support services in pharmacotherapy, critical to achieving the organization’s mission through supplying quality medications, rational medicine usage, and optimizing patients’ treatment outcomes through appropriate counseling.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Basic Transactions Process:
    Purpose:

    • Provide effective medication use and become the people’s trusted ally against health issues that way, you can deliver maximum value to both the pharmacy and society. Review and develop the clinic's pharmacy policies and regulations.
    • Participate in voluntary community health activities to promote, maintain and restore health and prevent diseases. Manage clinical risk.
    • Provide professional advice on cosmetics or para-pharmaceuticals.

    Inform:
    Engagement:

    • Document patient and family education. Develop and implement the teaching plan utilizing the patient education manual. Think critically in adapting to change, judging situations, and taking appropriate decisions.
    • Adhere to EHA Clinics Code of Conduct as well as ethical standards of the field.
    • Interpret symptoms so that the patient can either be given immediate treatment for a trifling condition or be referred to the doctor. Protect patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols. Provide emotional support and measures to alleviate fear and anxiety.
    • Provide pharmaceutical care services which may include, but are not limited to, patient needs assessment, age and disease-specific drug therapy and patient education, care adjustments based on patient response, and clinical interventions to identify, minimize, and avoid adverse drug reactions.

    Basic Information Organization:
    Delivery:

    • Prepare and dispense medications to patients on physician’s order. Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
    • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of the clinic drug formulary. Records of all drugs, doses, and prices on the automated inventory of the clinic. Review, analyze and respond to different situations encountered daily.
    • Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality. Maintain full control over delivering, stocking, and labeling medicine and other products. Develop effective medication plans to minimize the risk of adverse side effects.
    • Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

    Key Areas of Note:

    • Keep up to date with relevant medical research, technology, and evidence-based medical practice by attending continuing education courses and professional meetings, reading journals, etc.
    • Research unusual symptoms and treatment options, through consultation with physicians and other medical specialists

    Requirements

    • Minimum qualification of Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy / M.Pharm/PharmD with a minimum of two (2) years post NYSC progressive experience in Pharmacy within the private and public sector.
    • Experience working with public health and health systems is an advantage.
    • Candidates must be a registered member of Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with an up-to-date practicing license

    Medical Laboratory Scientist

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Purpose:

    • Compile and analyzes body fluids, tissue, and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings.
    • Gather and organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labels; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
    • Perform molecular diagnostics such as PCR using open and closed systems. Perform hematology, chemistry, immunology and microbiology tests as required. Perform infectious disease testing including COVID-19.

    • Identify and communicates abnormal results by alerting supervisory personnel, the patient, physician, or nurse.

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge

    • A minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited university.
    • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a Medical Laboratory, Clinic or hospital.
    • Additional training and experience in molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR
    • Candidate must possess a Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN)
    • Candidates must possess a current practicing license. Relevant Certification will be an added advantage.

    Registered Nurse

    Mission Objective 

    • The nursing department delivers quality healthcare by providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and prioritizing the needs and preferences of patients.

    • Bachelor’s Degree OR Diploma of Nursing from an accredited nursing college, University with High Distinction (Top 10% of graduating class).
    • Must have current clinical experience in direct patient care and have worked a minimum of 2 years in the last 3 years.
    • Must have at least 3 years of postgraduate nursing experience in an accredited University Teaching, Federal Medical Centre, or International hospital.
    • Hold and maintain a current nursing license to practice in Nigeria.
