We are hiring API 653 Certified Inspectors for an upcoming project. Applicants must be experienced in Tank Inspections, have working knowledge of ASME codes and excellent attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must hold a current API 653 Certification and have API Inspection work experience.

Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of the current inspection codes. Additional certifications desired, but not required are:
Current safety training (within the last 12 months) to include but not limited to confined space, fall protection, LOTO, etc.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if it meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document.
• Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter‐office communications.
• Compile and submit completed inspection report in a timely manner.
• Pay attention to detail and be capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work.
• Drive a vehicle safely in an oil and gas facility and field sites.
• Be proficient with standard computer software and be able to write detailed inspection and reports while maintaining an organized system of files.
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards coworkers.
• Ensure that all BGI and client safety policies and procedures are followed.

Required Education / Experience / Certificates and Licenses

• Current American Petroleum Institute (API) API‐653 certification, working knowledge of NDE methodologies and an engineering or physical science degree..
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the inclusion of digital photographs for use in repair recommendations and reporting is required.
• Self‐motivated with good written and verbal communication skills with a positive team‐oriented attitude is required.
• Documentation of work experience.
• Demonstrable understanding and application of ASME standards.

We are hiring grit/sandblasting technicians to support a maintenance project.

Responsibilities

• Strip various surfaces of dirt, rust, paint, and grease to prepare for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment.
• Use abrasive blasting equipment to strip surfaces, removing sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to specified finish.
• Cover and protect surfaces not being stripped.
• Add abrasives, such as sand, grit, into blast machine.
• Control valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle or into tumbling barrel.
• Use equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over surface of parts.
• Manually direct nozzle over surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove-fitted cabinet openings and manipulates small parts under nozzle.
• Examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Comply with applicable safety regulations and best practice
• Assist with training of new hires.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties

• Thorough understanding of required equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Minimum 5 years experience required.

We are seeking to hire a Cathodic Protection Technician position to support a maintenance project. As a Cathodic Protection Technician with us, your work with CP systems on the project will include installing, commissioning, monitoring, evaluating, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and decommissioning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare for planned Cathodic protection projects
• Perform lockout and tag out procedures
• Operate and use testing equipment
• Perform troubleshooting on Cathodic protection systems
• Conduct function tests
• Gather data, prepare records and reports
• Install, maintain and repair components of a Cathodic protection system
• Troubleshoot and replace components on CP Systems

 Required Skills:

• At least an engineering or science diploma
• NACE CP1 certification (or other industry related certificate) preferred
• Experience with land survey, navigation, interpretation of engineering designs, mechanical repair, IT, and/or construction highly preferred
• Must have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Desire to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and management
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office programs.
