    Social Media Manager

    Job Overview

    • Are you a creative and driven Social Media expert with a passion for storytelling and brand engagement?
    • We're looking for a social media Rockstar who understands the science behind viral content and the art of building and growing engaged communities across our social media channels. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Africhange’s brand goals.
    • Create and manage content across Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube to engage, educate, and convert audiences.
    • Lead community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions in a timely and strategic manner.
    • Track and analyze social media performance, using data to optimize content and campaigns for maximum impact.
    • Collaborate with content, design, and paid marketing teams to create engaging and high-performing social assets.
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep Africhange at the forefront of digital engagement.
    • Manage influencer partnerships and collaborations that align with Africhange’s brand vision.
    • Oversee the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and brand voice across all channels.

     Specifications

    • At least a Bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within fintech, financial services, or startups.
    • Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, analytics tools, and content trends.
    • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
    • Proven experience in growing and engaging online communities.
    • Experience managing content workflows and editorial calendars.
    • Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, or Meta Business Suite.
    • Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships is a plus.
    • Ability to think creatively and execute campaigns that resonate with Africhange’s audience.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Graphic Design Specialist

    Job Overview

    • We are currently in search of a Graphics Designer who will work closely with the marketing team and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and create high quality graphics that reflect our branding priorities.
    • You will use design techniques to create visually appealing graphics for social media, web, television as well as communicating campaign concepts through very creative print, digital marketing materials.
    • The ability to create motion graphics is an added advantage.

    What you will do

    • Create visually appealing graphics for print and digital media, including advertisements, social media content, brochures, presentations and other types of marketing materials.
    • Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
    • Develop concepts for campaigns and contribute to layout, typography, and photography decisions
    • Create visual elements such as logos, original images, visual elements and illustrations to help deliver a message
    • Work across teams to produce any additional visual resources that might be required
    • Participate in regular design reviews with Product Designers/Marketing and weekly feedback sessions with cross functional stakeholders
    • Create drafts of social media posters, banners, flyers, etc. and get them approved by our Design Lead.
    • Use feedback from other team members to improve on designs
    • Learn and improve knowledge of design techniques and expertise.
    • Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.
    • Carry out other various visual design projects and initiatives including motions graphics if needed.

    What you should have

    • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
    • 3+ years’ experience in graphic design as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and figma or similar tools
    • Keen eye for design and aesthetics
    • Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style
    • Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design
    • Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution.
