    IT Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    • The IT Operations Manager will support the Head, Information Technology in overseeing the bank’s IT systems and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
    • This role involves managing IT services, assisting with project implementation, supervising the IT support team, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Operational Support:

    • Assist the Head, Information Technology in managing day-to-day IT operations, including monitoring systems, networks, and core banking system and other applications.
    • Ensure the timely resolution of technical incidents and minimize service disruptions.
    • Coordinate IT maintenance schedules, system upgrades, and patch management.

    Team Supervision:

    • Provide guidance and support to IT staff, ensuring efficient task allocation and workload management.
    • Assist in training and mentoring the IT operations team to enhance technical and problem-solving skills.

    Incident and Risk Management:

    • Act as an escalation point for IT incidents and coordinate with the team to resolve complex issues.
    • Identify potential risks in IT operations and recommend mitigation strategies.

    Compliance and Security:

    • Ensure adherence to banking regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and IT governance frameworks.
    • Collaborate with the IT security team to monitor and address vulnerabilities in the system.

    Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Support the Head, Information Technology in managing vendor relationships and ensuring SLAs are met.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand IT needs and provide appropriate support.

    Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Assist in monitoring IT system performance and preparing reports for senior management.
    • Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, and operational processes.

    Project Assistance:

    • Participate in IT projects, including upgrades, system integrations, and new technology implementations.
    • Ensure alignment of IT projects with business objectives and timelines.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in related discipline with 6 - 8 years of work experience.

    Credit Risk Officer

    Responsibilties

    • Evaluate customers' loan applications in line with the organisation's credit policy.
    • Identify critical risks in credit requests and provide advice on how requests can be restructured in line with the bank’s risk appetite.
    • Has relevant experience in analysing consumer and SME loans.
    • Organisation of the credit committee.
    • Portfolio management & reporting.
    • Create innovative credit evaluation processes and systems.
    • Evaluate clients for credit worthiness based on our internal risk models & their application information.
    • Detect fraudulent applications and unreliable applicants.
    • Review Facility Letters and Loan Agreements, scrutinising the signed documents to ensure the accuracy of the contracts.
    • Continuously ensure alignment/compliance with the credit risk management framework.
    • Continuously analyse and recommend improvements on the credit risk management framework, processes and systems.
    • Preparation of statutory reports.

    Qualification / Requirements

    • A First Degree in Economics, Finance or any other discipline, a Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
    • 2 - 5 years’ relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry.
    • Good knowledge of accounting and relevant lending ratios.
    • Experience in Credit Risk Management
    • Data Analytics and Effective Communication
    • Good Knowledge of Credit Analysis and Appraisal
    • Experience in SME
    • Good reporting skills.
