    Quality Officer

    Job Ref.: PANQO022022
    Reports To: Head, Quality
    Job Division / Department / Unit: Operations & Technical Division

    Job Objectives

    • To develop strategic procedures and policies for quality management imperatives of the Plant operations, Corporate facility and organisation in line with global best practices.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Coordination of process car inspection all through the production stages: Process Quality Inspector, Defect Analyst, Car Quality Testers.
    • Daily Reception of Referred Product Defect from the production shops.
    • Analysis of Product defect and identification of the cause(s) of such defects.
    • Confirmation of the conclusion of the defect causes.Launching of action plan for the elimination of analyzed defects.
    • Launching and follow up of customer protection actions in cases of defects.Engaging in process actions with Quality Inspectors to stop defects occurrence.
    • Animation and follow up of recommended solution for correct implementation.
    • Reception of referred defects from after sales to establish causes of defect for technical assistance
    • Propose retouch process for analyzed defects.

    Education & Experience

    • A First Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical/Electronic Engineering will be required.
    • 1-2 years cognate work experience. Working knowledge of local automobile industry and International Standard Organisation Regulations (ISO) will be an added advantage.

    Jigs / Local Content Development Officer

    Job Objectives

    • To design, develop and fabricate jigs and local parts for production.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Design and fabricate jibs for productionContinuous Analysis and Follow-up of Products Modifications / Adaptations.
    • Drive the local content development policy of PAN.
    • Coordinates Product review and design, creation and analysis of projects technical documents for local parts manufacturing and receipt of same from relevant sources.
    • Coordinates PAN Operations & Technical Division Research & Development initiatives.
    • Liaise with local auto component parts manufacturers willing to partner with PAN.

    Education & Experience

    • A First Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical / Material Management Engineering and Automobile Technology will be required.
    • 1-2 years cognate work experience. Working knowledge of local automobile industry will be an added advantage.

    Methods Officer

    Reports To: Head, Production
    Job Division / Department / Unit: Operations & Technical Division

    Job Objectives

    • To execute operations and activities for the production planning, review and design.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Executes Production process planning and work organization in the various car production shops including manpower calculations (MTM timing) and work arrangement (balancing).
    • Follows design and management of mechanical and civil engineering projects that have a bearing on the production process including the review of project plans and equipment lay out (using drawings and manuals).
    • Establishes and monitors production, including defining parts storage positions and manpower requirement.
    • Draws up procedures for utilization of production facilities, equipment and process control.
    • Prepare production sequence, drawing up of schedules, defining production methods and controls to ensure that targets are met as well as assuring quality specifications using most efficient means.
    • Maintains and update the Bill of Material of all models of cars in the production process.
    • Follows all modifications all through the production life of all models.
    • Carry out periodic audits of the production line to ensure that specified procedures are respected.
    • Carry out continuous improvement actions on production processes and workstations.

    Educational Qualification

    • A First Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering will be required.
    • 1-2 years cognate work experience. Working knowledge of local automobile industry will be an added advantage.

    Electrical Technician

    Job Objectives

    • To execute maintenance programmes and processes that will enable operating equipment in full capacity.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Carries out general electrical repairs in production.
    • Carries out electrical modifications, repairing of lighting on auto circuits etc
    • Executes repairs of electric motors, rectifier etc.
    • Does building of electrical panels.
    • Carries out electrical fault tracing and general troubleshooting
    • Carries out all other assignments given by the Head of Dept / Division

    Education & Experience

    • An OND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering will be required.
    • 1-2 years cognate work experience. Experiences in maintenance/production capacity will be an added advantage
