    Project Driver

    Department: ACEBAY

    Job Summary

    • The Project Driver will provide a variety of transportation support to the project.
    • He will convey project Staff and Consultants to designated approved locations, ensure adequate safety, cleanliness, security and maintenance of the project vehicle assigned, ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc.
    • Ensure availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and necessary spare parts.
    • Plan route and requirements by studying schedule or ad-hoc request by the office.
    • Ensure passengers adhere to all road safety regulations.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • Secondary School Leaving Certificates, Apprentice Certificate or any other equivalent certificates with 5-6 years’ experience
    • Must have a Trade Test Certificate and a valid Driving License
    • Must have expert knowledge of driving rules and regulations

    Technical Officer - Procurement, Supply Chain Management & Logistics

    The Position

    • Under the supervision of the STO-HSS/CD, the TO-PSML will assist in the development of AHNi in-house capacity development among the various departments, implementing agencies (IAs) and in all aspects of logistics and supply chain management of health commodities.
    • S/he will provide technical support and leadership to Nigeria’s efforts to strengthen the procurement and supply chain management system of health commodities using evidence-based data from the Logistics Management Information System, to reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage.
    • Provide technical support to facility focal persons in logistics to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of LMIS reports.
    • Support facilities to maintain excellent inventory of commodities, ensuring proper documentation of expired commodities, separated from useable ones.
    • Periodically support the health facilities to carry out stock audit exercise to ensure accountability and transparency.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • B.Sc in Laboratory Sciences, Biological Science, Pharmacy or related Degree with 4-6 years post-national youth service experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in provision of logistics support for HIV/AIDS
    • Sound understanding of HIV/AIDS technical areas
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs highly desirable.

    Information Technology Officer

    Job Description

    • Information Technology Officer will provide support and maintenance to ACE computer and network infrastructure to ensure stable operations.
    • S/he will implement new IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity and will maintain/support implemented systems to ensure high end-user satisfaction.
    • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Server Systems and Networks, automated backup and restore operations and mission-critical applications such as email, file/print services and other line of business applications to allow IT respond proactively to emerging problems and perform ongoing IT “housekeeping” functions.
    • Perform installations of operating systems, layered products, and third-party products for multi-user computer systems that host corporate applications, databases and websites.
    • Maintain Local Area Networks, Wireless networks, Firewalls and other essential network services as appropriate. Assist and perform software installations and upgrades as required.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent with 4 - 6 years post-national youth service relevant experience.
    • Or MS/MA Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent, and 3 - 4 years post-national youth service relevant experience.
    • Candidate must possess Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.
    • Experience with a multi-site network (at least 3 sites) with a minimum of 200 users is highly desirable.

    Senior Finance & Administrative Officer

    Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration for the Project, ensuring compliance with the contractual requirements of the project with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Ensure that financial management and office administration policies and procedures in finance are consistent with those of AHNi and donors.
    • Implement accounting and fiscal control procedures to comply with AHNi and donor policies and procedures. Develop and review operational budgets.
    • Provide oversight of pipeline expenditure projections, manage and review financial functions (check requests, wire transfers, and journal entries), provide direction, oversight, and interpretation of accounting policies and procedures that guide the day- to-day operations of the project.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent with 7 - 9 years relevant experience.
    • Or MS/MA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5 - 7 years relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in office management and administration.
    • CPA, ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required.
    • Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations and familiarity with donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.

    Surge Ad-Hoc Support-Health Informatics Officer

    About the Job

    • Candidates will assist the ATO-Health Informatics in the provision of mentoring and supervision to volunteers on capturing quality data, working closely with the DECs and Dos to monitor entries into the DHIS and LAMIS and follow through to correct and effect changes where necessary on the EMR. 
    • The SAS-HI will provide support to the ATO-HI in the reporting of the day-to-day data captured to supervisors, assist in preparation of presentations and dashboards for morning review meetings, ensure that all PMM tools/registers are documented and that service providers are validated daily by DECs/Dos and assist in conducting analysis to identify gaps across all reported indicators. 
    • Also, he/she will assist the ATO-HI in ensuring daily uploads of RADET and other reports that may be required, support in conducting routine folder level audit of assigned facilities, ensure data concurrence of assigned facilities across reporting platforms – NDR, LAMIS, DHIS/DPT and design and provide support with maintaining a tracker of tools inventory across assigned LGAs.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Information Management or relevant professional certification in Information and Communications Technology and related disciplines with 0 to 1 years’ relevant experience in software development or database management.
    • Experience working at the national level on health programs with knowledge and experience with data collection and analysis.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

    Security Officer

    Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security advisory to staff across the entire GF NAHI Grant implementation states to minimize staff exposure to security risk and mitigate any harm to staff or program property.
    • He/she will develop and implement security management plan and security protocols for AHNi state offices, conduct regular security risk assessments in line with minimum operation requirements, conduct regular safety audits of all AHNi premises and recommend measures that would reduce risk, focusing on prevention and deterrence, ensure that Security Guards at all AHNi premises have undergone basic safety and security trainings and maintain clear records on the same.
    • In consultation with the Admin Manager/SFAO/SPO, he/she will ensure that safety features are installed in all AHNi premises, conduct safety and security trainings to all new staff before deployment to filed locations.
    • Also, the Security Officer will analyze staff security and safety needs and share with line managers through the State Team Lead, develop a catalogue of mandatory trainings that staff should undertake & conduct brief security briefs before deployment to deep field locations, ensure close coordination of AHNi security protocols with other actors in the operation areas and keep monitoring for any actions that may elevate our security risk for immediate remedy.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • B.Sc. or HND in any relevant discipline; including Psychology, Security & Safety, etc., with 3 to 5 years post-NYSC experience in Security & Safety Management.
    • Possession of a post graduate degree in a related field is an added advantage. 
    • Sound report-writing skills, activity budgeting and activity tracking with set timelines.
    • Proficiency in Security and Safety management, incident reporting, training facilitation, security briefing, etc.
    • Ability to multitask and set priorities to deliver on urgent tasks.

    • Surge Ad Hoc Support - Technical will provide technical support to sites in delivering and ensuring high quality laboratory services in the allocated LGA /Cluster.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MBBS or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Sciences, or Behavioral Sciences, with 1-3 years working experience in development programs at the community level with at least 1-2 years’ experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation.

    Assistant Technical Officer - HIV Self-Testing

    Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will provide HIV Testing Services to all clients willing to conduct HIV test, provide quality counselling and psychosocial support to clients and refer clients for appropriate additional psychosocial and clinical support.
    • The ATO-HIVST will assist in the coordination of community outreaches and campaigns, collaborate with other health care professionals (doctors, nurses, social worker, community health care worker, home-based caregiver, psychologist.) in maintaining treatment protocol.
    • Also, he/she will support adherence counselling for patients on HIV treatment and document the session outcomes in the counselling form, keep comprehensive directory of facilities offering ART and other related prevention services and provide support to decentralized HTS points to provide quality services and support (where needed) in ensuring a coordinated inventory management and supply of RTKs and consumables to HTS sites.
    • The ATO-HIVST will identify clients who are defaulting and furnish team with relevant information for intervention, communicate weekly updates to supervisor by noting challenges encountered, making recommendations and planning for the next weeks’ activities and prepare monthly reports on services rendered for submission to supervisor.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or other related disciplines with a 2 - 3 years’ experience
    • Experience in HTS and adherence counselling and child and youth development is an advantage
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs is an advantage.
