Key Responsibilities
Executive Support & Calendar Management
- Own and optimize the CEO’s dynamic calendar, managing internal and external meetings, travel, and deep work.
- Prepare briefings, agendas, and context documents to ensure the CEO is always prepared.
- Track and follow up on key deliverables, ensuring priorities move forward.
- Collaborate with team leads to gather inputs and align timelines with the CEO’s feedback.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as the CEO’s first point of contact, screening, responding to, or escalating requests.
- Draft high-quality emails, briefs, memos, and reports.
- Liaise with internal cross-functional teams, partners, investors, and media with professionalism and speed.
- Communicate changes and updates clearly and promptly.
- Handle confidential and sensitive matters with integrity and discretion.
Travel, Events & Logistics
- Manage travel planning and itineraries for domestic and international trips, including visa applications, accommodation, ground transport, and schedules.
- Support the CEO’s participation in conferences, retreats, external events, and speaking engagements.
Productivity & Systems Optimization
- Implement systems and tools to improve the CEO’s workflow, communication, task management, and efficiency.
- Maintain a proactive approach to reducing context switching and optimizing deep work time.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in an Executive Assistant or high-level support role for a C-suite leader, founder, or high-impact team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proven experience managing calendars, travel, and operations across multiple time zones.
- Strong emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and integrity.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Asana, and video conferencing tools.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with grace and grit.
- A genuine interest in startups, innovation, and Africa’s tech ecosystem is a major plus.

The People Operations Associate will support day-to-day operations of the People Team and assist in the implementation of HR initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. This role requires an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting our people in achieving their potential.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and coordinating onboarding processes for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data.
- Support in the execution of employee engagement initiatives, including organizing company events, workshops, and recognition programs.
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and other HR-related matters.
- Help prepare HR reports and assist with data entry for performance management and payroll purposes.
- Support the People Team in driving initiatives related to company culture, training, and development.
- Assist with maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring a positive working environment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing documentation for employee exits, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Stay up to date with HR best practices and local labor laws to ensure compliance.
- Any other task or project assigned by your Line Manager
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in HR or People Operations
- A strong interest in Human Resources and employee well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Google & Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.
