    Digital Marketing Manager

    Summary of the Role

    Simba Group seeks to fill the role of a Digital Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating long-term digital & mobile strategies for the Division and driving online growth for all product lines. This strategic role requires an individual with strong leadership skills who can work cross-functionally.

    You will own the aspects of paid ads, SEO, email marketing, and social media working closely with members of the sales, service, spares and marketing team.

    Key Elements of the Role

    You will report to the Divisional Head of Marketing

    • You will define and develop the digital marketing strategy in line with the Division’s growth objectives across all digital channels
    • You will plan and execute all digital projects and activities, including online advertising, Website and SEO optimization, Email marketing automation, lead processes and scoring, Social media marketing, etc. in line with the business goals.
    • You will manage and measure the success of digital campaigns for user acquisition, retention, and awareness and adapt these for best performance
    • You will develop strategies that combine technical and content elements, to drive ongoing improvements in SEO and organic search results
    • You will design, build and maintain our social media presence
    • You will develop strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
    • You will establish internal processes to optimize conversion rates – get to the root of issues and blockers and, with support from Marketing Operations, intelligently implement tools and technologies to get the job done
    • You will utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
    • You will coordinate the creation and implementation of digital content across all digital channels. (blogs, websites, press releases, podcasts, etc.)
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
    • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data
    • You will review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • You have at least 5 years’ experience in digital marketing with a record of accomplishing measurable success in developing and providing qualified leads through innovative campaigns and programs to scale company growth.
    • You have experience working with Sales (B2B & B2C) and other departments to find effective and efficient ways to drive qualified leads
    • You have hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Social media monitoring tools, CRM software and web traffic metrics
    • You are able to strategically, analytically, and creatively break down problems and find effective solutions
    • You have a solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
    • You have a firm grasp of web design and content management systems. 
    • You have above average knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

    Product Marketing Manager

    Summary of the Role

    Simba Group has an immediate opening for a Product Marketing Manager in our Automobile trading division. The role will report to the Divisional Head of Marketing.

    The Product Marketing Manager will act as the link between and work closely with our Sales, Service and Spares team to build a differentiated and compelling product offering that solves critical pain points for our customers, providing input based on market insights, personas, and use cases in order to design the product strategy, develop marketing materials, and coordinate product/brand communication to drive market penetration. You will work with our Marketing and Sales teams to share that narrative with the market through integrated campaigns, launches, sales enablement and stakeholder events. Above all, you will become the foremost expert on our product offerings and on the customer, understanding both at a deep level and championing them in conversations with internal teams and leaders, as well as external stakeholders such as press and analysts.

    Key Elements of the Role

    • Take product value propositions and turn into clear product positioning and marketing messaging, from which our marketing and communication strategies can be defined to support the sales process
    • Maintain brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all other internal and external communication platforms  
    • Analyze the market and technology trends, the evolving needs of our ideal customers, and our competitors.
    • Develop an effective product positioning strategy as input for the sales, service, spares and marketing teams
    • Define the value propositions, personas, and messaging for each use case of the product, together with the Divisional Head of Marketing and the Profit Centre Heads.
    • Develop internal and external marketing and sales collaterals such as, Product content (AV, Images, Infographics, etc.), training materials, product and sales presentations, customer case studies, analysis and insights
    • Maintain complete and up-to-date Brand manual for all internal and external branding protocols
    • Partner with our Service team to actively manage and maximize the customer lifecycle value
    • Work closely with our Divisional Head of Marketing and Profit Centre Heads to actively support the sales and service process
    • Own and direct the production of publicity brochures, handouts, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, and other multimedia programmes
    • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all Marketing Communications programs and activities along with the Divisional Head of Marketing
    • Foster CSR and community relations through corporate events such as open days, sponsorships and through involvement in community initiatives

    Our expectations within your First 60-days

    • Deep dive into the products and our positioning with our Sales, Service, Spares and Marketing teams.
    • Take 100% ownership of all planned and ongoing customer engagement activities 
    • Develop the product marketing roadmap for Q1 and Q2 of 2022 together with our Profit Centre Heads and the Divisional Head of Marketing.

    Desired Experience & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant field
    • 5 or more years of experience in product marketing or brand management preferably in Automotive, FMCG, or a Multinational organization
    • Experience launching products, developing messaging and product positioning
    • Experience with customer segmentation, market analysis and building business cases to improve the customer and user experience
    • Team player and experienced in cross-functional communication and project management.
    • Excellent planning and organizing abilities
    • Skilled in writing clear reports and keeping accurate records
    • Above average Knowledge of the Excel and PowerPoint

    Content & Creative Manager

    Summary of the Role

    Simba Group has an opening for a Content & Creative Manager in our Automobile division in Lagos. The Content & Creative Manager will develop the online and offline content strategy and generate unique content that will attract and engage potential clients and partners, as well as help existing ones achieve their goals faster.

    The ideal candidate is someone excited about creating a strong and consistent brand identity, telling compelling stories, have exceptional writing skills, understand how to generate multi-media content that reaches a large target base, and understand how to measure and iterate on results.

    Key Elements of the Role

    • You will be required to generate creative ideas/concepts and produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize your ideas
    • You will be responsible for creating unique, engaging, audience-focused content in multiple formats including videos, blog posts, newsletters, posters, handbills, radio jingles, animations and landing pages
    • You will collaborate with the Head of digital to plan and develop site content, style and layout
    • You will produce editorial content for blogs and articles that are SEO optimised to increase organic traffic and rankings as well as offline projects like guides and magazines
    • You will take ownership of content production including creative photoshoots, video shoots/production, planning and campaign briefs as well as product launches with the assistance of the Marketing Operations Manager
    • You will ensure brand consistency across all content created for all sales & marketing initiatives and communications
    • You will ensure legal compliance (copyright, privacy, data protection, etc.) in all contents and creatives
    • Report on key content metrics to the Divisional Head of Marketing to inform future campaigns, proposals and content strategies

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • You have at least 5 years’ experience in content or social media marketing
    • You have demonstrated ability to leverage content to generate inbound interest and increase brand awareness
    • You have strong experience in video content production
    • You have excellent writing skills with a portfolio of articles or write-ups to show
    • You have mid-level plus design or video editing skills (e.g. Photoshop, premiere-pro etc.)
    • You are well organized and can manage your time effectively
    • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant field
