    Quality Assurance Engineer

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end functional, regression, and performance testing across all environments to ensure the reliability, stability, and usability of our software products. You will work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
    • Perform end-to-end functional testing to ensure all system components work together as expected.
    • Conduct regression testing to verify that recent code changes have not adversely affected existing functionalities.
    • Carry out performance and load testing to evaluate software responsiveness, stability, and scalability under varying workloads.
    • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Ensure consistent testing across all environments: development, staging, and production.
    • Maintain detailed and well-structured documentation of test cases, test execution logs, and defect reports.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
    • Contribute to continuous process improvements in the QA function by identifying gaps and proposing solutions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (2–5 years) as a QA Engineer or in a similar software testing role.
    • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Experience with automated and manual testing frameworks.
    • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
    • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
    • Knowledge of API testing, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
    • Must Live in Lagos and able to commute to work location

    • User Research & Journey Mapping:

    • Wireframing & Prototyping:

      • Simplify complex lending workflows for users unfamiliar with financial technology.
      • Ensure designs are WCAG-compliant and usable across a range of devices and screen sizes.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally in fintech, HR tech, or enterprise SaaS.
    • Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating user journey mapping, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI design.
    • Knowledge of design systems and UX best practices.
    • Ability to translate user behavior and feedback into thoughtful, scalable design solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Engagement (60%)

    • Handle 50+ calls/day (inbound/outbound) via phone/WhatsApp
    • Diagnose sleep needs to recommend mattresses (e.g., "For your back pain, our Royal Ortho...")
    • Convert 20% of service calls to sales.

    Issue Resolution

    • Resolve complaints (delays, warranty claims) within 24hrs
    • Escalate complex cases using our internal system

    Data & Compliance

    • Log 100% of interactions in CRM
    • Adhere to 8-second pickup time SLA

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years call centre experience (sales/support)
    • Tech proficiency: CRM tools, Google Suite

    Compensation & Perks

    • Base Pay: ₦100,000 - ₦150,000
