    Head of Legal

    Key Responsibilities

    Legal Advisory & Corporate Governance

    • Serve as the principal legal adviser to the Managing Director and Board.
    • Provide legal opinions on corporate, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and internal policies.
    • Draft and review board resolutions, governance policies, and statutory documents.

    Regulatory Compliance (Financial Services)

    • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with regulators and relevant authorities on legal and compliance matters.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on implications.
    • Oversee regulatory filings, licensing requirements, and reporting obligations.

    Contract Management

    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, loan agreements, service level agreements, and NDAs.
    • Develop standardized contract templates to manage risk exposure.
    • Ensure contractual obligations are clearly defined and legally enforceable.

    Risk Management & Litigation

    • Identify and mitigate legal risks across business operations.
    • Oversee dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, and recovery matters.
    • Manage relationships with external counsel where required.
    • Ensure proactive handling of loan recovery legal processes.

     Credit & Lending Legal Oversight

    • Review lending documentation and credit structures.
    • Ensure enforceability of loan agreements and security documentation.
    • Advise on debt recovery strategies and collateral enforcement.

    Data Protection & Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and privacy regulations.
    • Develop and implement policies on confidentiality and information security.

    Internal Policy Development

    • Develop and update internal policies in line with regulatory and legal standards.
    • Provide training to management and staff on legal and compliance issues.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
    • Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL)
    • Master’s degree in Law, Corporate Governance, or related field (advantage)
    • Minimum of 8–12 years’ post-call experience
    • At least 5 years in a senior legal role within financial services, fintech, or banking
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate law, and commercial law
    • Experience handling regulatory bodies and financial compliance matters

    Technical Assistant to the Managing Director

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly analytical, tech-savvy, and resourceful Technical Assistant to support the Managing Director. This role is designed for a well-exposed and forward-thinking professional who combines strong technical understanding with business insight to support data-driven decision-making and execution.

    Senior Storekeeper

    • The Senior Storekeeper will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an organized and efficient store management system within the joinery factory. The role requires a highly experienced individual who can systematic procedures for material control, ensure accurate inventory records, and coordinate effectively between the Procurement, Accounts, and Production departments.
    • The candidate must have proven experience environments, with solid knowledge of raw materials, hardware, fittings, veneers, and consumables used in carpentry and furniture production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Store Management & Systemization

    • Design and implement a structured inventory management system (ERP-based) to ensure traceability, accuracy, and smooth workflow.
    • Establish for all raw materials, consumables, and finished products.
    • Maintain a , safe, and organized storage facility with defined areas for receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch.
    • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and shelf life of materials to prevent shortages or overstocking.

     Coordination & Communication

    • to communicate material requirements based on production schedules and stock levels.
    • Coordinate with for material receipts, stock valuation, and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
    • Provide timely updates to Production on material availability and delivery schedules.
    • Participate in inter-departmental planning meetings to align store operations with overall factory workflow.

    Inventory Control & Documentation

    • Maintain accurate daily records of receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
    • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Generate periodic inventory reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.
    • Ensure all documentation (GRN, issue vouchers, material requests) is properly completed and filed.

    Procurement Support

    • Assist the procurement team by providing trends and reorder quantities.
    • Verify quality and quantity of received goods against purchase orders and specifications.
    • or quality issues to procurement and management immediately.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Propose and implement improvements in and inventory processes.
    • Train junior store staff on best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and housekeeping standards in the store area.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as Storekeeper or Store Supervisor in a joinery, woodworking, or furniture manufacturing company.
    • Strong understanding of joinery materials (solid wood, MDF, veneers, laminates, hardware, adhesives, etc.).
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, or related field preferred.
    • Proficiency in ERP or inventory software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Zoho, or similar).
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
