    Sales and Marketing Executive

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Description

    • We are recruiting for candidates with zeal and passion for SALES to drive our business forward. As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you’ll strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible.

    Responsibilities

    • As a sales executive, your duties will differ if you’re working in B2B or B2C sales.

    In B2B sales, you’ll need to:

    • Build good working relationships
    • Understand the needs of your business customers
    • Research the market and related products
    • Present the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face.

    In B2C sales, your responsibilities include:

    • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
    • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
    • Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries
    • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
    • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
    • Gather market and customer information
    • Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
    • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
    • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
    • Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock
    • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

    For both roles, you’ll be required to:

    • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
    • Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
    • Record sales and order information, sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system
    • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    • Feed future buying trends back to employers
    • Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
    • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of H.N.D
    • 2 years of working experience in field marketing/sales.

    Head of Engineering

    Location: Surulere, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • Our client is a corporate technology solutions provider in the document copy/print/scan equipment, maintenance servicing, print management solutions industry is seeking a Head of Engineering to join our dynamic and growing team.
    • In this position, the Candidate will oversee all technical matters companywide and manage the technical support team. You will work collaboratively with clients/users, the technical team, and various stakeholders within the company to ensure the delivery of all products in an efficient, timely manner.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as the Engineering leader and Technical expert
    • Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members
    • Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by
    • Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
    • Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff
    • Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects
    • Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
    • Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members
    • Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
    • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
    • Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally
    • Operate in accordance with the organization’s employment, health and safety, equal opportunities and other legal requirements, organizational practices, policies, and procedures
    • Conduct regular status meetings with all necessary stakeholders
    • Contribute to the planning and development of the organization.
    • Deliver work within budget and agreed targets.
    • Support and develop line-managed staff to ensure they are enabled to carry out their areas of responsibility efficiently and effectively.
    • Carry out Health and Safety risk Identification and assessments
    • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
    • Ensure technical team trains customers properly
    • Responsible for being properly trained
    • Carry out any other duties commensurate with the job role.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Engineering, Elect. Elect. etc)
    • Master’s degree in engineering management or business administration preferred
    • 3 years of engineering experience, ideally in a management role
    • Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team
    • Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track
    • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline driven environment
    • Interpersonal communication skills with expertise.
