    Warehouse Facility Manager

    About the role

    The Warehouse Facility Manager is the primary custodian of Sun King's warehouse physical environment, ensure operational readiness, safety compliance, lease adherence, security, asset management, and sustainability of the warehouse facility.
    The role holder ensures the warehouse meets all operational, regulatory, and organisational standards, enabling the warehouse team to execute daily activities without physical or environmental interruption. 

    What you would be expected to do

    Facility Operations & Vendor Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility — ensuring all services (utilities, security, maintenance, HVAC, racking, mechanical systems) function optimally and any service failures are resolved without delay.
    • Coordinate with approved service providers for the maintenance of all utilities (electricity, water, internet) and infrastructure; manage vendor performance against SLAs and escalate underperformance.
    • Conduct and document periodic facility inspection walkthroughs; identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance needs and initiate corrective actions before they impact warehouse operations.
    • Maintain a comprehensive facility maintenance register — recording all completed, pending, and scheduled works — updated continuously and reviewed with the Warehouse Supervisor monthly.
    • Act as the primary internal point of contact for all day-to-day facility-related issues raised by warehouse staff; resolve or escalate within timelines.

    Lease Compliance, Legal & Risk Management:

    • Ensure full compliance with the warehouse lease terms — including rent and service charge payment timelines, maintenance obligations, permitted use conditions, and fit-out or modification approvals.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with the landlord(s) and relevant regulatory authorities on all lease-related matters; track and manage timelines for fit-outs, inspections, and lease renewals.
    • Implement risk mitigation strategies related to facility safety, security, lease compliance, and asset protection — with the relevant teams.
    • Conduct routine safety assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety, workplace health, and emergency regulations applicable to the warehouse facility.
    • Oversee insurance policies for the facility, stock, and equipment — ensuring full and current coverage at all times; track renewal dates and coordinate with Finance for timely policy management.

    HSE Compliance & Safety Standards:

    • Serve as the primary HSE point of contact for the warehouse facility; enforce Sun King's HSE standards, local regulatory requirements, and fire safety regulations at all times.
    • Ensure scheduled HSE audits, fire drills, and safety inspections; document outcomes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure all actions are closed.
    • Ensure all warehouse personnel have access to appropriate and functional PPE; manage PPE stock levels and replenishment proactively.
    • Report all safety incidents, near-misses, and equipment malfunctions to the Warehouse Lead.
    • Maintain all facility-related HSE records, permits, and compliance certificates in an organized, audit-ready state at all times.

    Security & Access Management:

    • Oversee the physical security of the warehouse facility — including access control systems, CCTV monitoring, perimeter checks, and visitor management protocols.
    • Conduct and document routine security checks of the premises; report any security concern, breach, or suspicious activity to the Warehouse Supervisor on the same day.
    • Manage access authorisation for all warehouse personnel, contractors, and visitors in line with Sun King's security SOPs.
    • Liaise with the security service provider to ensure guard deployment, patrol schedules, and incident response protocols are maintained.

    Asset & Supplies Management:

    • Maintain an up-to-date register of all warehouse facility assets — including racking, forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners, furniture, equipment, tools — tracking condition, maintenance history, and service schedules.
    • Implement tracking mechanisms for all facility assets; conduct periodic audits to reconcile asset and supplies records and ensure proper usage and custody.
    • Coordinate scheduled and preventive maintenance for all warehouse equipment; ensure all equipment is safe, certified, and operational before authorising use.
    • Manage facility-related supplies — ensuring critical supplies are available at all times; flag replenishment needs proactively before stockouts occur.

    Cost Optimisation, Reporting & Sustainability:

    • Manage the facility operations budget — tracking all expenditure (rent, service charges, utilities, maintenance, supplies) against approved budget lines; identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality or safety.
    • Develop and maintain accurate records of all facility expenses; prepare and submit monthly reports on facility performance, cost analysis, space utilisation, and operational efficiency to the Warehouse Lead.
    • Obtain and evaluate quotations for all maintenance and repair works.
    • Promote and implement eco-friendly facility management practices — including energy conservation, waste reduction, and responsible disposal — in line with Sun King's sustainability commitment.
    • Drive workplace improvement initiatives that enhance safety, cleanliness, organisation, and the overall working environment for warehouse staff.

    You might be a strong candidate if you

    • HND / BSc Degree in Supply Chain Management or related background.
    • 3+ years of warehouse management experience in the Solar space, FMCG or related industry.
    • Excellent knowledge of warehouse management procedures.
      Proficient knowledge of and inventory controls, staffs and products.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Good Managerial, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in the use of ERP systems is an added advantage.

    Associate - Installers Coordinator

    About the Role

    • We are seeking highly motivated, skilled and experienced people to join our team.
    • As the Associate-Installers Coordinator you will ensure that every inverter sold is installed correctly, safely and on time by managing the full installer ecosystem in-house techs, certified contractors, and dealer technicians.
    • You are the link between Sales promises and Customer satisfaction.
    • No installation, no revenue recognition. No quality installation, no referrals.

    What you would be expected to do

    Installer Network Management:

    •  Recruit, onboard, and certify in-house and 3rd party installers across your region
    • Maintain engaged roster of certified installers per state/LGA with coverage maps
    •  Run background checks, validate tools, and issue company ID/certification cards
    • Manage installer contracts, rate cards, and SLA compliance.

    Job Scheduling & Dispatch:

    • Receive installation requests from Sales/CRM daily; prioritize by customer type, SLA, and geography
    • Assign jobs to installers based on skill level, location, and workload — minimize travel time/cost
    • Use dispatch app/WhatsApp group to confirm job acceptance within 2 hours
    • Track job status: Assigned → En route → On-site → Completed → Customer sign-off
    • Escalate delays to Sales + Customer Care before customer complains.

    Quality Assurance & Standards:

    • Enforce company installation SOP: cable sizing, earthing, battery racking, labelling, neatness
    •  Conduct random site audits: 10% of jobs per installer monthly. Use photo/video checklist
    • Fail/retrain installers with >2% callback rate. Maintain “blacklist” for repeat offenders
    •  Sign off commissioning reports before jobs are closed in system
    • Ensure COC/compliance docs are filled for warranty validity

    Training & Certification:

    • Run monthly refresher training with Technical Trainer: new inverter models, common faults, safety
    • Certify dealer technicians to handle basic installs and reduce reliance on your team
    • Update installers on firmware changes, app setup, and monitoring platform onboarding
    • Maintain skills matrix: who can do 1kVA vs 20kVA 3-phase vs C&I systems.

    Customer & Sales Interface:

    • Be the “single throat to choke” for Sales when customers ask “when will my installer come?”
    •  Manage customer expectations: communicate delays, reschedule, handle site-not-ready issues
    •  Debrief Sales on site Obstacles: roof too weak, load higher than quoted, customer bought wrong cables
    •  Assist Sales with pre-sales site assessments for complex/C&I deals.

    Materials & Logistics:

    •  Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure installer kits: cables, lugs, breakers, conduit go out with jobs
    • Track tool calibration, safety gear PPE compliance, and vehicle readiness for in-house team
    • Reconcile materials used vs BOM per job. Flag wastage/pilferage.

    Reporting & Improvement:

    • Own KPIs: Installation TAT, First-Time-Right Rate, Callback %, Customer CSAT on installation.
    • Submit weekly dashboard: jobs done, pending, average TAT by state, top installer performers.
    • Examine callbacks: feed top 3 failure modes to Training + Product teams
    • Optimize routing to cut installer fuel cost and improve jobs/day.

    You might be a strong candidate if you

    • 3+ years in field operations, installation coordination, or technical supervision 
    • Technical background: BSC/HND/B.Eng. Electrical, or City & Guilds. Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and AC SPD and DC SPD on a solar inverter 
    • Experience managing technicians/artisans — you’ve told someone to redo ugly conduit before 
    • Used to high-volume ops: 20+ jobs/day across multiple teams 
    • Good admin: Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, basic CRM/dispatch tools 
    • Valid driver’s license + comfortable on site: roofs, ceiling.
