    Inventory Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inventory movements. 
    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products against relevant documentation. 
    • Ensure proper documentation of stock receipts, transfers, issues, and returns. 
    • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile findings with inventory records. 
    • Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excesses, damaged, or expired products. 
    • Prepare periodic inventory reports and submit them to the Management
    • Supervise proper documentation and filing of inventory records. 
    • Work closely with the Accounts, Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate stock records. 
    • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions. 
    • Ensure products are properly stored, labelled, and arranged for easy identification and retrieval. 
    • Support compliance with company inventory control procedures.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline. 
    • Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years of relevant post-NYSC experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, or a related role. 
    • Good knowledge of inventory control and reconciliation procedures. 
    • Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively. 
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills. 
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
    • High level of integrity and accountability. 
    • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
    • Candidates must be ready and willing to relocate to Ibadan.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, agricultural, manufacturing, or related sector. 
    • Knowledge of stock valuation, inventory reconciliation, and inventory reporting. 
    • Familiarity with handling products with batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock movement records.
