Eastern Plains Integrated Farm Limited (EPIFL), a rapidly growing agribusiness in Igbariam, Anambra State is seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Supervisor to oversee procurement and purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods and services required for business operations.

The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, managing vendors, processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring that procurement processes comply with organisational policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source, evaluate and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines and business requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Process and monitor purchase orders from requisition through delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, contracts and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with organisational policies, procurement regulations and established procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, purchase orders, contracts and supplier documentation.
• Monitor supplier deliveries to ensure materials and services are delivered according to agreed specifications and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
• Conduct market research and monitor supplier and commodity price trends.
• Support contract management and ensure suppliers meet agreed contractual obligations.
• Identify and escalate procurement risks, supply disruptions and vendor-related issues.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports and provide relevant updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
• Previous experience in the FMCG, Agriculture or Manufacturing sector is required.
• Proven experience in vendor management and purchase order processing.
• Good knowledge of procurement regulations, processes and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Certification in Procurement or Logistics, such as CIPS or CPSM is an advantage.
