    Head of Finance and Strategy

    About the Role

    • We're seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance and Strategy to lead our finance team and oversee all financial activities of the company.
    • As Head of Finance and Strategy, you'll be responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the company's growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company goals
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities.
    • Oversee cash flow, capital structure, and funding strategies.
    • Collaborate with executive management to support business growth and operational efficiency.
    • Drive financial performance, profitability, and sustainability initiatives.
    • Manage financial reporting and risk management
    • Lead finance team and drive financial performance.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
    • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, ACIS or equivalent is required.
    • 8 - 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles within the banking or financial services sector.
    • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, with excellent knowledge of IFRS, FRCN, and SEC compliance requirements.
    • Skilled in strategic portfolio management, cost efficiency modeling, and scenario planning to support executive decision-making.
    • Proficient in leveraging digital finance tools, and data analytics, to strengthen decision-making and reporting.

    Business Development Officer

    Key Responsibilities
    New Client Acquisition:

    • Drive Sales and Business growth
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients interested in financial products.
    • Identify and generate new business leads through market research, networking and cold calls.
    • Present and explain Sky Capital financial products and services to clients.
    • Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and client follow-ups.
    • Manage customer enquiries and provide product information.
    • Promote asset management offerings and insurance brokerage solutions where applicable.
    • Support market research and lead generation activities.

    Requirements:

    • BSc in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related function (financial services advantage).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Result-driven mindset with good organizational ability.
    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Previous experience in banking is required.

    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are recruiting to fill the following positions to support our growth and business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead business growth initiatives to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic lead generation and networking.
    • Conduct market research to analyse industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs for informed strategy.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders, corporate, and partners.
    • Develop and implement effective sales and go-to-market strategies across financial products.
    • Prepare, present, and negotiate business proposals, commercial offers and contracts.

    Requirements

    • 5–10 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related role (financial services preferred).
    • Strong analytic skills with proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong understanding of financial products and client acquisition strategies.
    • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional collaborations.
    • Previous experience in banking will be an added advantage.
