    Academy Co-ordinator & Specification Engineer

    Job Description

    • The Academy Coordinator & Specification Engineer will be responsible for managing and leading the development and delivery of a range of learning and development activities in relation to product knowledge and various applications of Sika solutions for internal users and external parties.
    • He/she will ensure that Sika products and systems are specified by designers, detailers architects to maximize Sika’s profit, sales and opportunities.

    General Responsibilities

    • Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars tailored to the needs of the teams and clients.
    • Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry
    • Responsible for identifying upcoming and ongoing projects, identify construction chemicals performance product requirements of the entire project, develop Sika solutions opportunity in such projects, preparing detailed technical specifications for Sika products.
    • To provide pre and post sales technical advice and support related to products.
    • To introduce new products and concepts to Internal: Sales Engineers, and External: consultants, Project Managers, main Contractors, Sub-contractors and client bodies as may be directed by the Vertical Market managers.
    • Other related duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    • HND / BSc in Engineering / Environmental Sciences or related fiels
    • 5+ years working experience in related field
    • Professional Certification (COREN etc)
    • Hands on experience of the construction industry and built-up environment.

    Technical Sales Engineer, Infrastructure (South-South)

    Job Description

    • The Technical Sales Engineer will support Sika Nigeria’s vision, policies, and goals for increase in sales profitability and customer satisfaction, by seeking out and targeting new customers, new sales opportunities, and initiate action plans to approach and secure new and old business.

    General Responsibilities

    • Develop and increase sales and business opportunities for Sika Nigeria 
    • Develop, build and maintain cordial relationship with stakeholders such as: Customers, consultants, etc.
    • Manage Key Accounts and Key Projects within assigned coverage area
    • Ensure prescriptive selling of the right solutions to meet the needs of the customers
    • Understand credit sales management bordering on utilization and recovery.
    • Improve market coverage, and develop new market segments / Application fields
    • Attend  and plan technical trainings/worksho/training
    • Manage process of establishing a sustainable customer base, account management, product supply, technical support and customer relations
    • Provide required reports and planning as well as sales forecasts ensuring forecast accuracy
    • Support team goals and actions for delivery of targets.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years working experience in related field

    Role Summary
