The Technical Sales Engineer will support Sika Nigeria’s vision, policies, and goals for increase in sales profitability and customer satisfaction, by seeking out and targeting new customers, new sales opportunities.
The role involves initiating strategic action plans to secure both new and existing business across the Northern region of Nigeria.
General Responsibilities
Develop and increase sales and business opportunities for Sika Nigeria
Develop, build and maintain cordial relationships with stakeholders such as: Customers, consultants, etc.
Manage Key Accounts and Key Projects within assigned coverage area
Ensure prescriptive selling of the right solutions to meet the needs of the customers
Understand credit sales management bordering on utilization and recovery.
Improve market coverage, and develop new market segments / Application fields
Attend and plan technical trainings/workshop/training
Manage process of establishing a sustainable customer base, account management, product supply, technical support and customer relations
Provide required reports and planning as well as sales forecasts ensuring forecast accuracy
Support team goals and actions for delivery of targets.
Qualifications
HND/BSc in Engineering/Environmental Sciences or related field
5+ years working experience in related field
Professional Certification (COREN)
Hands on experience of the construction industry and built-up environment
