    HR Officer (Female)

    Job Reference: HRO2023015

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the company HR operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved.
    • Assist in all activities concerning the sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline and HR administration.
    • Coordinate and /or conduct departmental training and conduct new hire hotel orientation program.
    • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
    • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.
    • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
    • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
    • Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation, incentive, bonus and benefits with the HR Manager.
    • Continually assesses employee morale by analyzing absenteeism and turnover records, lateness and resignations.
    • Coordinate and oversee all matters related to staff accommodation, facilities, and transport.
    • Coordinate, control and inspect employee’s accommodation, staff canteen etc. ensuring it is of the highest possible standard of cleanliness and comfort.
    • Conduct needs analysis, develop, implement, and monitor training programs and materials with the help of the Human Resources Manager.
    • Encourage a good standard of employee conduct and behavior and coordinates disciplinary procedure as and when necessary.
    • Ensure appraisals are carried out for every employee every 12 months and also review all appraisals and follow up on development needs, if required.
    • Assist in communication of key messages to all staff.
    • Assist in recruitment and hiring of new hires.
    • Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations.
    • Assist other department heads / HOD’s in the formulation of HR policies and procedures for their respective departments.
    • Assist with and ensures that all procedures concerning promotion, transfer and staff resignation is carried on within Company policy and also within legal boundaries.
    • Assist in developing and conducting management training on a variety of leadership topics as the need arises.
    • Carry out any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Qualification and Experience

    • HND or Bachelor's Degree in related field of study.
    • 3 - 5 years Hospitality experience obtained in a well-structured Hotel or Resort
    • Must have Software knowledge used in the hospitality industry.
    • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
    • Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • HR certification will be a plus (CIPM, HRCI, or SHRM, etc.).

    Account Receivable Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Timely receipt of customer payments in Sage as per the remittance advice and in compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Weekly reconciliation of customer receipts and ensuring that there no unallocated receipts at the end of the month.
    • Ensuring monthly reconciliation of all key customers.
    • Generating weekly sales status report and Z reports that reconcile to the monthly sales
    • Ensure that customer credit limit is strictly adhered to and in accordance with the company policy
    • Monthly preparation of customers Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) reports
    • Maintain account receivable files customer files and records.
    • Ensuring queries on receivables are addressed in a timely manner
    • Ensuring that GL fully reconciles with AR sub-ledger
    • Weekly review of AR aging to ensure compliance
    • Monitor customer account details for non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities.
    • Ensures that company internal control policies and procedures are being adhered to, drives process improvements throughout the company, implement Highest Priorities and Key Control changes as required by Internal Audit Report
    • Ensure strict adherence to the company credit policy.

    Requirments

    • B.Sc in Accounting or related discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years work-related experience.
    • FMCG experience will be added advantage
    • Computer Literacy - Experience in Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel Advanced a must, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Experience in accounting software is a MUST.

    Accountant

    Job Description

    • Collaborate with chief accountant and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks
    • Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
    • Create financial documents such as invoices, payables, receivables and purchase orders and payment vouchers.

    • Membership of professional bodies like ICAN or ACCA will be an added advantage
    • Ability to use any Accounting software is an added advantage
    • Very smart with good communication and analytical skills.

    Senior Warehouse Officer

    • Overseeing and monitoring of stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
    • Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments
    • Supervising, coaching, and training the fulfillment agents
    • Keeping track of the all cost involved in the running of the warehouse and logistics
    • Ensuring productivity, accuracy and fulfillment SLAs are on target
    • Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of stock.

    • Ensuring the fulfillment of logistic partners (drivers, loaders etc.) have the accurate address details and deliver goods on time.
    • Reducing stock/logistic damage by dealing with inquiries and ensuring compliance related to shipping or transportation
    • Ensuring that shipping documents are all update, stored safely and shared as required
    • Identifying, planning and managing logistics to optimize the warehouse processing operations by ensuring accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.
    • Ensuring that reversed order processes and logistics are properly managed as at when required.
    • Carrying out other tasks as required periodically

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
    • Minimum of 8 years work experience as a Supply Chain& warehouse professional.
    • Demonstrated organizational or managerial skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
