    School Laboratory Technician

    Key Responsibilities
    Laboratory Preparation & Maintenance:

    • Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science experiments.
    • Ensure all apparatus, chemicals, and specimens are available and in good condition.
    • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and orderliness.

    Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the lab.
    • Conduct regular checks on equipment and chemicals to ensure safe storage and handling.
    • Dispose of hazardous materials according to safety regulations.

    Support for Teaching & Learning:

    • Assist teachers and students during practical lessons and demonstrations.
    • Provide guidance on the proper use of lab equipment.
    • Help students develop laboratory skills in accordance with the curriculum.

    Inventory & Resource Management:

    • Maintain an inventory of lab equipment, chemicals, and other supplies.
    • Request and restock laboratory materials as needed.
    • Keep records of lab usage and equipment maintenance.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Technology, Science, or a related field. 
    • Open to Youth corps members or fresh graduates.

    ICT Teacher

    Key Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of designated subject and ability to develop and deliver engaging and motivating integrated curriculum (A-Level, IGCSE, WAEC and Checkpoint)
    • To teach the relevant subject, stimulate as well as maintain students’ curiosity in the designated Subject.
    • To develop students’ familiarity, competence and confidence in the Subject.
    • To provide challenge for every student and encourage them to achieve their potential in the Subject
    • To contribute and engage in extra-curricular activities within the Subject.
    • To encourage all students to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress against targets, taking into consideration the differing ability of students and differentiating work accordingly.
    • To keep up to date with curriculum change and reforms.
    • To undertake other assigned tasks and roles which may arise either in the department or in the wider school environment.
    • Any other duties relating to the job as required from time to time by the Head of School /Principal.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of B.Ed / B.Sc (Ed) in relevant subject areas.
    • Good understanding and knowledge of both A-Level, IGCSE and Checkpoint Curriculum.
    • 5 year experience of teaching the British curriculum and delivering results.
    • Membership of professional associations
    • Capable of teaching across Junior & Senior School level.
