Instruct students on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation and the hardware and software built on those foundations.
Teach students how to write computer programs, algorithms, and programming languages.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
5 years of prior experience as an ICT Teacher
Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification
Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies aligned with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula.
Foster students’ critical thinking, inquiry, and analytical skills through interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities Department to design lesson plans, teaching strategies, and interdisciplinary projects.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations (including IGCSE) through continuous assessment, revision sessions, and targeted feedback.
Grade and record students’ work, monitor academic progress, and communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and counsellors regarding performance and conduct.
Integrate current global events, case studies, and digital resources to make lessons relevant and engaging.
Organize educational trips, debates, and cultural activities that enhance students’ understanding of historical, social, and geographical concepts.
Ensure all school, curriculum, and state education requirements are met.
Use technology effectively for lesson delivery, student engagement, and academic recordkeeping.
Participate in professional development, workshops, and teacher networks to remain up-to-date on the latest educational trends in Humanities instruction.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Social Studies, or Humanities Education (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level (IGCSE experience is essential).
Strong knowledge of both Nigerian and Cambridge (IGCSE) curricula.
Excellent classroom management skills and familiarity with school operations and policies.
Proficient in the use of educational technology and digital learning tools.
Up-to-date knowledge of 21st-century teaching methodologies and contemporary Humanities topics.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and motivated teaching personality.
